Payback Payback Payback

Jack's POV

As she pulled away, I thought it was he best time to have payback on her payback of my payback (AN: I don't know if hat made any sense lmao) I pulled her back and got really really close to her face like we were only centimeters apart. I smirked and started to tickle her because I know she is EXTREMELY ticklish. As soon as I touched her sides her room erupted with laughter that could be heard throughout the house. God I love the sound of her laugh.
"J-jack StOp" She said trying to catch her breath between the giggles.
"Sorry no can do Miss Adams" I said with a smile. She tried to squirm out of my grip but I just continued tickling her watching her with amusement.
"Jack s-stop I c-can't breathe" she laughed. That's when I finally let her go. She smiled and ran out of the room so fast, I couldn't even process it. Before I knew it she flashed out of the room and down the hallway. As soon as I realized what was happening I dashed out of her room trailing behind her.
As I get down the stairs I look around and she's nowhere to be found. I'm guessing Layla's mom noticed I was looking for her because she just chuckled at me.
"I heard her go outside if that helps." She stayed with a bright smile that reminded me so much of Layla's.
"Thanks Miss Adams" I yelled as I Stumbled out the door. I could hear her chuckle softly to herself as she watched me entertained. I walk outside the house and look around in all the bushes and all the possible places she could be. Nothing. I keep searching around her whole yard trying to find hidden places to where an 18-year-old could possibly hide. Nothing. Where in the world could this girl be?

Layla's POV

What he doesn't know is that I'm on top of the roof watching him try to find me. To be honest it's kind of hilarious. He's running around like a chicken with its head cut off. I just sit on the roof silently laughing at him. After a few more minutes I decide its time to make my presence known.
"HEYYY JACKLYN UP HERE" I yelled and he looked up at me with a shocked facial expression.
"HOW IN THE WORLD DID I NOT THINK OF THE ROOF! IM SO STUPID" he said face palming himself.
"Its Okay you just didn't know about my ninja climbing skills." I shrugged and smiled. He just stared up at me for awhile. "Come up here ya big goof" I laughed.
"Okay" he said as he tried to put his foot on a tree stump and try to stand on the windowsill to get up. I just watched him struggle for a few minutes.
"Jack" I said trying to hold back a laugh.
"Yea" he looked up at me.
"You have to climb the tree to get up here you half baked potato" I said as I pointed to the huge tree conveniently located right next to the house.
"Oh right, I knew that." She said nonchalantly as his face turned the color of a tomato. Pretty soon he climbed up the tree and sat down next to me on the roof. "So you come up here a lot?" He asked looking up at the sky.
"Yea I come up here when I need to clear my mind." I said. After that there were many minutes of comfortable silence.
"Do you think it's fate that brought us together?" He asked sheepishly.
"What do you mean?" I asked wanting him to elaborate a little more.
"Well I mean first off, we met by texting the wrong number. Second off, I coincidentally moved into your school district of all the districts I LA. How cliche is that" he said as he shook his head laughing. "I mean it's almost like we were meant to meet." He said.

Jack's POV

"Yea this is all really cliche, but I wouldn't want to have it any other way." Shes miled lightly. She looked beautiful. I don't know if it was the way the sun was illuminating her skin or if my feelings for her had gotten the best of me but I did something I wouldn't have expected myself to do. I pulled her close to me. I could tell she was blushing because she wouldn't look up at me. I took my finger and tilted her head up to look at me.
"Don't hide your blush, its adorable." I smiled and she blushed even more.

Layla's POV

"Don't hide your blush it's adorable." He smiled at me as I could feel my face getting redder by the second but I just smiled back at him. Then he did something I'm pretty sure neither of us were expecting...

He cupped my face in his hands and kissed me.
