"It's been so long since I've been here," I told Mike as I looked around at the empty stands.

Gillette is a beautiful stadium, and sometimes you just need to be reminded.

"I was here with Kristi three weeks ago," he replied and a smile. "Although, she didn't get an interview with someone as big as Edelman. This is gonna totally boost our views."

I nodded. "How do you think this happened? Doesn't Kristi normally just do like second string players?"

He shrugged. "I don't know. Can't players like request interviews? Didn't Danny Amendola request you? I mean maybe Julian requested you," he reasoned, his blue eyes looking back at me.

I furrowed my eyebrows as I looked up at him. "Yeah, like he's going to request me! He doesn't even know me," I shot back. "I mean I knew Amendola a little before I interviewed him, but Edelman? Yeah, nope."

Mike sighed, but then his eyes quickly focused on something behind me. I whipped around, and Danny was making his way over to us. He was half in uniform... the half that I would prefer to be in uniform, too.

My mouth began to water as I glanced down at his beautiful thighs. "Hey Danny," I greeted with a smile. "It's... It's uh great to see you again."

I had to greet him that way, no one knew about my situation.

"Hi Juliet, you too." He shot me an innocent smile and shook my hand, then he moved over to shake Mike's. "Hey Mike, it's great to see you again."

"You too, man," Mike greeted with a smile.

Danny put his hands on his hips and smiled that adorable smile of his. "I thought I'd just come over and say hi, cuz you're never at these games for interviews," he said with a smile. "I also brought you a little something." He pulled a folded blue Patriots Jersey out from under his hoodie.

"I thought it was about time you got a Jersey, Juliet," he told me as his smile got bigger.

I smiled and grabbed it from him, letting it unfold in front of me. "Oh man! Look at that," I said, then turned it around and rolled my eyes. "It even had your last name and number on it Dola!"

"It does! I hope it fits you," he replied as he motioned to it.

I took my coat off and pulled the jersey over my head, of course it fit me perfectly. "It fits perfectly, thank you, Danny." I moved forward and gave him a quick hug. "You didn't have to do this."

He pulled away and shrugged. "It was about time you got a number 80 jersey," he replied with a chuckle.

Fuck, he was so adorable.

I rolled my eyes playfully. "Shut up, Danny! You're ridiculous," I mumbled as a blush found its way onto my face.

"Eh! It was the least I could do. I'll uh see ya soon. I've gotta head back to the locker room," Danny said as he slowly began to back away.

"I'll see ya, Dola! It was great talking," I replied and a small smile and I shimmied my jacket back on.

Once Mike and I finished setting up in a conference room, we had a bit of time before Julian would be up for his interview, so we sat down and I finally had a second to check my phone.

There was a text from Danny.

Danny 10:43

Do you want me to hang around so I can give you a ride back?

I rolled my eyes and shook my head.

Juliet 10:45

No, I'm fine. I'll just grab an Uber or something. Thank you!

The door to the conference room opening, broke me out of my thoughts. I looked up and saw Julian Edelman standing there, with his normal cocky smirk on his face.

"Mr. Edelman! Thank you so much for doing this interview," I greeted with a smile as I stood up and walked over to greet him.

He reached his rather large hand forward and shook my hand. "It's nice to meet you, Juliet. I've heard quite a bit about you," he said, cockily. Of course he has.

I turned before he could see me rolling my eyes, and motioned to the chairs. "Please have a seat and we can start the interview," I said as I fell into a chair from across him.

Mike began rolling and we were off.

"Well, thank you again for doing this interview Mr. Edelman," I said with a smile on my face as I looked straight at him. I acted overly sweet the entire time, just to piss him and his cocky attitude off.

His blue eyes sparkled as a big smiled found its way onto his face. "Aw, no, thank you for having me, Juliet," he replied with fake enthusiasm.

If I wasn't on camera, I'd have rolled my eyes so hard they probably would've fallen out.

I continued to smile until Mike cut the video. We began to pack up, but Edelman just hung around, not saying a word and watching every move I made. Mike let me know he was going to go get the car, then left.

As I began to put a few cameras in the camera bag, Julian coughed, causing me to turn around and let out a long sigh. "Is there anything I can help you with, Mr. Edelman?"

"Yes, actually," he mumbled as he leaned forward and folded both of his hands on the conference room table. His cold blue eyes stared at me, shooting a shiver down my spine-- and not the good kind either. "What are your intentions?"

I sat down on the edge of the table and looked at him with an eyebrow raised. "Intentions with what, Julian?"

"With Danny boy. What are your plans with him," he asked, his voice low, practically in a growl.

"I-I," I paused and looked down at him. "He's being a really good friend at the moment, Julian. I'm not using him for anything. I-I've began looking for a place to live already."

His blue eyes squinted up at me. "If you hurt him, you'll have a problem... You hear me?"

I sucked in a shaky breath and slowly nodded, not knowing what to say.

Was it really that obvious that I was into him in more than just a sexual way?

"I-I... Yeah, okay Julian. I hear you loud and clear," I mumbled as my heart began to race.

He stood up so he was at my level. "Good." He shook his head and slowly began to move out of the room. "I'm glad we had this talk."

I sucked in a long breath and brought a hand up, grasping my forehead as I tried to keep myself calm.
