"Ugh! Danny, what do you want me to wear," I called from my bedroom as I held my towel tighter around my body.

"I don't know," he called back. "Just something casual, I mean I'm wearing a button up shirt and black jeans."

I nodded and turned back to my closet to look for something suitable to wear. I finally settled on a three quarter sleeve maroon shirt, and some light wash jeans. I moved to the dresser where I had some make up sitting. I rarely wore makeup for something other than work, but decided that today was going to be one of the days I was going to wear it.

I tired my hair back and began to put my makeup on. As much as I hated makeup, I had to admit that I looked amazing, flawless even... Like I actually could compare to the normal NFL girlfriend.

Girlfriend? Yeah, like this was going to go past one date. In my dreams. I may be good for the sex... But... Girlfriend material? Arm ornament at events material? I shook my head-- there's no way.

After one date, he'll be disgusted... Won't be able to look at me... Is gonna want me out as soon as I could possibly leave.

I shook my head once more before I moved away from the mirror. I looked over at the alarm clock on the bedside table and sighed-- 5:47, we'd be leaving in thirteen minutes. I grabbed a pair of black slip-on shoes, and made my way out of the guest room.

"Well, it looks like I'm ready," I mumbled as I walked into the living room. I slid my phone and some money into my back pockets.

Danny stood up from the couch and turned around to look at me, but stopped dead in his tracks as he looked over at me. His big brown eyes were wide, and his mouth was slightly open. "Juliet," he almost whispered.

My eyes went wide. "What!? Is my makeup messed up," I frantically asked, then looked down at my clothes. "Is there something wrong with my outfit?" I pulled at my shirt.

"What!? No! Never! Juliet, you look absolutely amazing!" He snapped out of it and approached me with a smile on his face. His hands met my hips, and grasped them tightly. His soft brown eyes looked contently into my eyes. "You definitely didn't need the makeup, though."

I broke eye contact as I blushed. "Oh... Uh... Thank you."

One of his hands was moved from my waist, and then was brought up to my chin, so I was looking him in the eyes again. "You look absolutely amazing, Juliet," he whispered. "Don't you dare feel less than amazing right now."

I sighed and nodded slowly. "Are... Are you ready to head out?"

He nodded as his hand moved back down to my waist. "Of course I am. A wonderful date with a beautiful girl, it's going to be a great night," he replied with a smile.

I smiled a bit. "Where are we going," I asked as he let go of my waist and the two of us made our ways to the door.

Danny grabbed my hand as we made our ways down the steps. "That, my lady, is for me to know, and you to find out," he said with a smile. He unlocked his car, then pulled the passengers door open for me.

I slid into the car and smiled up at him. "Thank you, Danny." He smiled as he closed the door behind me.

He then quickly jogged around the car and got in the drivers side. "I-I'm glad that you've agreed to let me take you out tonight," he said as the engine roared to life.

I blushed as I buckled myself in. "Well, I'm glad that you've asked me out. I-I've liked you for a while... Honestly... The past three and a half years," I mumbled and looked down at my hands on my lap.

"You know what? I can honestly say the same, Juliet," he replied, causing me to look up to him. His soft brown eyes were looking back at me, and there was a small smile on his face.
