The concert ended after that song and Sarah and I decided that we were hungry. So, we found a little diner about 10 minutes away and decided we would stop there.

We walked in and noticed that there was hardly anyone here; just an elderly couple in one of the corners. I guess that's normal for this time at night; it was nearly 11. I'm actually surprised this place is still open; most resturants close earlier.

We sat down in a booth that was nearby and quickly ordered. After waiting a while, the waiter came back with our steaks.

Sarah started rambling on about all sorts of things after the waiter came back with our food. I didn't hear a word she said though because I couldn't stop thinking about Adam. The way he looked at me at the concert. His gorgeous, hazel eyes stared right back into my green ones. He made me speechless; and, apparently, I had the same affect on him. I felt like I had some sort of connection with him that I had NEVER felt before. I had only dreamed about this happening, oh, about 500 billion times.

Was this just another dream?

"Umm....Earth to Nicole," Sarah spoke, waving her hands in front my face.

I snapped out of my trance and looked at Sarah, "Sorry....I was just thinking"

"Thinking about Adam?" Sarah questioned as she wiggled her eyebrows.

She knew me perfectly well, alright.

"Sarah!!!" I scolded  in a loud whisper while laughing.

"Oh hun, the blush on your face says it all. Too bad he's engaged to that model chick; you guys would've made a cute couple," Sarah teased while eating her last bite of her steak.

Way to remind me of my crushed dream Sarah!!

"I know," I mumbled under my breath and decided I was ready to leave," You ready to go?"

Sarah wiped her mouth with her napkin," Yep." She then started pulling out her pocketbook and pulled out her credit card.

I gave her the "You don't need to do that look" and she shrugged, "You got me the best birthday present ever. It's only right if I return the favor."

I laughed, "Sarah, my birthday isn't until two months."

She gave me a hard glare, "Shut up...You know what I mean."

I held my hands up in surrender, still laughing at her.

The waiter came back over and took the bill, along with Sarah's card, and left.

Sarah's ring tone went off. Once she found it in her purse, she held it up.

"Hey, Nicole. I'm getting a call, can you stay here and get the check? I'll be right back," Sarah asked as she got up and walked outside to answer the call.

Shrugging, I grabbed a napkin that was on the table and pulled out a pen from my purse. I started drew Adam's tattoos that he had on his body. I wasn't usually into tattooed guys because my parents would have killed me for it when I was younger, but I loved Adam's tattoos. They suited him well. I then scribbled down his full name in all sorts of fonts while smiling. Adam Noah Levine. That is such a perfect name.

I then started writing down my name next to his, except changing my last name from Blanchard to Levine. Nicole Alissa Levine. I sighed; If only that name was real.

"May I sit with you?" said a familiar, masculine voice that made me jump.

I looked up and and gasped as to who was standing in front of me.

Adam Levine.

Ok Nicole, calm yourself. You don't want to scare him off. Act like he's a normal person. Like that'll ever happen.
