The Maze

chapter 1

It's the first day of high school. I came from ( town you live in) to here in new york! I wasn't really happy about this at first, but oh well.

I walked into the school. The hallways where crouded with people. People i didnt know. People who i hated. People who hated me. Except for some people. But I haven't met them yet.

I walked to my locker. Opening it and putting some stuff in it. My first class is history. So I grabbed the things I needed and headed to class.

I didn't bump into anyone so that's good. I sat at the back of the class near the window. I starred out the window day dreaming about random things Then I heard the teacher talk about a group project, and of course, she chose our partner's. Great.

"Peggy schuyler and (y/n) (l/n). You have, Lin manual Miranda." Oh I was EXCITED! I LOVE Miranda! He made a musical and I haven't stoped talking about it since.

I look around and I find Peggy. She's a forgotten schuyler. The least noticed. But I think Peggy is the best schuyler. I mean she isn't drooling over some guy 24/7 *cough* Eliza *cough* or isn't drooling over Alexander *cough*angelica and Eliza*cough*. But all in all, they are all schuyler's. (I learned all of this, this morning from eavesdropping.)

"Ok, class find your partner, and start working!"Says the teacher. Little did she know I already had all of the facts written down! I didnt whant to forget them do I wrote them down.

I see Peggy walk up to me.

"Your (y/n) right." She asks. I nod my head, and she sits in the empty seat next to me.

"So, I already have most of the facts written down, but we can add some more."I tell her, showing her the paper. She nods and we start to write more down.

After a few minuets of silence Peggy asks me somthing.

"Hey do you whant to come over to my place?" She asks

"Sure!" I was so happy that i made a new friend!

"Hey do you wanna hang out at lunch!"She says in her happy tone. I nodded and we continue to work.

After about 40 minuets the bell rings and we head out of history.

( time skip)

I walk into lunch with Peggy. We have all if the same classes so we walked together. We sit down at an empty table. Then other people showed up.

A boy with curly hair tied into a ponytail, green/hazel eyes, and freckles. A girl that lookes like Peggy but wears red. and a boy that I have meet before.

"Oh hi james!" James Madison, he's in my math class. Peggy didn't sit near me because we had assigned seats, but James did.

"Hey (y/n)."he said with a big smile. "So,(y/n) this is John, and Maria. I see you have already met James!"She said in a happy tone. Again.

"Hi John! Hey maria!" I say with a bright smile.

We eat for awhile then after 45 minuets the bell rings.

When it does I head straight to art class. I LOVE art! It is my favorite subject so I was excited.

I walk in and I see that we have assigned seats. I look at where I would be sitting.

I head twords the bored.

Table 2

(Y/n), John, Thomas, Aaron.

'Great I'm the only girl. At least I have John' i thought.

I head over to my table and I sit next to John. I smile at him and he smiles back.

The bell rings.

"Okay students today is a free day since it's the first day. You can do whatever you like." Said the teacher. I got my sketchbook out and started drawing. I decided to draw my new friends. I see John look over at me.

"Omg you drawing is amazing!"He says, with stars in his eyes.

"Oh, thanks!" I say with a smile. "I like your turtle! It's adorable!" I say about johns drawing of a turtle.

"REALLY!"He says. "Yeah, I LOVE turtles! And your drawing is really good!"I say smiling even more.

I notice that Thomas kid is just staring at us. (Has only in this class because all high schoolers take it in different groups.) He has a pissed look. "Could you guys like, not talk? It's kinda annoying." He says. I can see the terror in johns eyes. The kid soon walks away.

"Who was that?"I say. Confused.

"That's Thomas Jefferson. He's a senior, and is a huge dick!"

The bell rings and me and John walk out. But as I was about to do that someone stops me right outside the door. John got a has start and I told him that he could go ahead and that I'll meet him at our next class, so he was no where in sight. I turn around and it's none other than Thomas Jefferson. He takes my sketch book right out of my hands, and starts doing through it.

"These are pretty good. I wonder what you would do if I do this....."he says landing on my heathers picture. He takes it out if the sketchbook and rips it to pieces. I start to cry. Then he takes another and rips it.

I fall to the ground crying. He drops the sketch book, then kicks me several times.he walked away with an evil smirk, leaving me there. After awhile I see John running up to me.

"(Y/n) What happend? I noticed that you weren't there and then I saw Jefferson walk away with an evil grin. I got worried!" He noticed my crying, so he started rubbing circles on my back. Trying to calm me down. It works. I then tell him what happend.

"Did he rip any that you liked?" He asked my I nodded.

"He ripped my heathers picture, turtle, and the picture I was drawing in art." I say trying not to sob. He takes me into a hug.

He helps me walk since I was in so much pain.

After all of my classes where done, me and Peggy whent to her house. I texted my dad saying I was going to a friends house.

"So, where exactly do you live?"I ask her. " I live were all the rich people live! It is spectacular." She says sarcastically. I giggle at her response. We keep walking for what seems like forever! Then we reach a freaken MANSION! I have never seen one in person so I was shocked! We walk In. And Peggy leads me to the 3rd floor. Then into a pastel yellow room. I walk in nervously. She sits on the bed. I stand ther awkwardly.

"Come and sit."She says patting the bed. I walk up to her and sat down.

"Ok I'm ganna get some snacks. I'll be right back. Oh and if my sister's bother you, tell me." She says handing me her number. I nod and she heads out. I quickly put the number in my phone. Then I hear someone walking down the hall.

They look in the room to see me, sitting there. "Hi!" They say. She's wearing a baby blue sun dress and black flats. Her hair half up half down.

"....hi..." I say being the nervous bean I am. She walks up to me. "Im Eliza! It's nice to meet you!" She says sticking her hand out. I shack it. "(Y/n)." I say back I grab my phone and text Peggy. Then a few seconds later I hear some one yell.

"ELIZA I NEED YOU!"It's Peggy. She leaves then after about 5 minuets Peggy walks in. " why did you whant me to contact you?" I ask. "Its because if you let them talk to you, my sister's will take you. I know your a shy bean so I didn't whant that to happen! So do you whant to watch a movie!"She asks me. I smile a bright smile, then nod!

We watched movies and ate food the rest of the day. At about 11 I whent home. Peggy walked with me because I didn't whant to be alone. I then headed straight to my room and paced out on my bed.
