I forget how long our session went on. Shinx was an excellent teacher, but it was hard to stay focused today. I felt frustrated constantly having the thoughts of how to wright things down properly only to be corrected. Thankfully our session was over with and it made me silently cheer in joy. I figured out that I hated learning in a class room. I remained as patient as possible with Shinx but I could tell she noticed me waning towards the end. She got up putting away the supplies we used today.

"Thank you Chase for having maintain a level and open mind through our session. Most of the Pokémon I deal with end up breaking a stool at the end of a session for their first time."

"Really?"

"Only a first time though, they learn pretty quickly afterwards to not break Skarmory's stuff."

I chuckled trying to rub out some tension in my lower neck. "Well I appreciate your patience as well. I got frustrated at myself a couple times but you made me feel like I didn't need to be rushed. It helped me in the long run."

"Well there's plenty of running left to go before the end of the week, but you're making steady progress. How about a walk to let out some of the tension? I find myself able to relax and think clearly after a day of slaving over paper work with a good walk."

I got up excited, "Sounds like what I need right about now too. Lead on Shinx."

"Oh, you can call me Summer if you'd like. This isn't a session after all."

"Huh, Summer Strider then?"

"Oh, yes, I didn't realize you knew my last name."

"Skarmory said S. Strider earlier so I figured that was the accurate way to pronounce your name."

"Well it's actually Shinx Summer Strider If you wanted to get technical. Please though, Summer is just fine."

We exited the library and made our way into town walking along the paths towards the shops and businesses area.

"So Summer, what's your story? You seem young to be a teacher, no offense."

"None taken, truth be told I'm more of an assistant right now. I can read Pokémon pretty well and that makes me a valuable asset to my employer."

"Because you can handle Pokémon well?"

"Or at least identify the best way to approach them early on. Honestly it isn't as much knowing them as finding the best way to sooth them."

"So during our session you found the best way to keep me calm?"

"Yes, but it also makes it difficult for me to truly express myself."

"Well how can I get to know the real you better instead of the illusion you portray?"

She stumbled only slightly, yet maintained a complacent expression. Was it something I said? "Well I guess you'll need to see what's real about me or not."

"Alright then, what does Summer like to do besides walking in her free time?"

"Hmm... I guess trying new things? I tend to enjoy discovering new ideas or activities I hadn't tried before."

"How about... poetry?"

She giggled, "Already trying for the romantic approach?"

"No not like that, I mean expressing your heart in an artistic form. For example..." I pointed to Kecleon's Shop. "A stand held by wood and nail, how much would it take before it... failed? As time eats away it slowly dies, a sad departure, in its... final demise."

"That... actually wasn't bad. I didn't take you for a poet."

I shrugged as the Kecleon checked over his shopping stand. "I actually tried one out this morning. Trying to rhyme again on the spot wasn't as easy as I had hoped. It did help me to express more of myself that I didn't think was actually there. I found my poem kind of sappy if it was said by another Pokémon, but some times the sappy stuff is true."
