Chapter five

Liam's P.O.V
I walked out and chose to go to my car. I couldn't hand over that note. Connor would've literally killed me. Just joking,he wouldn't but it was out bro code for our secrets to be ours no matter what.

Yet Logan had claimed imma bad boy. I'm i really?Rumours got it that he is gay and both girls and guys are already swooning over him. I didn't like him so I didn't care about him.

I had Amy. My ex girlfriend. I loved Amy but after some time I realised I didn't really like her. It was just another hook up...I was not even comfortable with her. I stayed in my car until the lesson was over. I had skipped art. I walked to my locker and grabbed some books.

I was walking with my best friend Alvin when coach Armstrong called me to his office.

I was the school quarterback and the football captain. I know its a bit cliché but that's me.

"Parker you realise the game is in a few weeks right? "He asked me but my mind was far away so I stared at him dazzled.
"Three weeks away actually. Right? And we need this cup Liam"he added when he realized I wasn't gonna say anything.
"We gonna get it coach"I said absently

"Without proper rehearsals and not showing up for practice? You know if you wanna fly you got to put all the shit that's weighing you down aside", he snapped slamming his thick fists on his desk.

"Nothing is wrong with my team or me"i said vaguely

"Sure. There is nothing. If you wanna prove everything is fine then four o'clock you and your team should be in the field"

"Okay"I opened the door.

"And if you miss the game yourself don't expect anyone else to come"he said standing up.

I walked out of his office. Sometimes being the captain of this goddamn thing suck . You take the blame of everything.

After practice that day, I left school with my practice uniform. I walked to the student's parking lot with my earphones plugged in and started searching for my best friend but my eyes landed on a familiar face and that's when I really looked at him.

The guy who we shared some periods with yet I couldn't start a conversation with.

He was relatively tall but compared to me, I was taller. He had greyish eyes and brown bangs which didn't reach his shoulder but still were tall.

" Dude open up" Connor tapped on my window. I unlocked the passenger seat and rolled my window down.

"What's up" He asked toying with the stereo.
"Where's Alvin" I asked ignoring him
"With Maddy. He's got a ride home". Maddy was Alvin's new catch. She was one of the Barbie's of school. They liked each other or they were using each other,we didn't care at all as far as they were  being themselves.

Logan's P.O.V

I was standing besides my car talking to my sister and China who hadn't gone home yet.

She had been watching his boyfriend Dylan Cullen play. Crazy right?In two weeks and three days,she already had a boyfriend.I don't even know when they had started dating honestly

We were laughing with them until I saw him...he was seated in his car with one of his friends. I liked Liam but if course he hated me so I just had to look and wish.

i heard he had a girlfriend some weeks ago. There breakup wasn't the best thing in school.

But surely it was the gossip of the week since it was in the gossip column in Eastside vogue,Our school magazine

I read it myself. Why not? I wouldn't miss some juicy news for nothing.

I had seen him with his practice uniform. His shorts had portrayed his perfect slender legs and although his shirt was baggy I saw his built abs and his tanned chest.

I saw his tattoo for the first time since he was always in a hood and leather jackets. A black rose flower on his arm . It had some words beneath it that I couldn't see from where I was.

He was a puzzle that everyone wanted to crack. He was living his life as the Golden boy of the school. Everyone knew him yet no one really knew him,if you catch the drill

"I'm going home"I announced opening the door to my car.
"See you at home"Jasmine sighed walking towards his guy.
China hugged me and walked in the different direction towards her ride home,she still wasn't talking to me.
