Chapter nineteen

LIAM'S P.O.V

"Liam Parker!"I heard a shout from behind us. We were walking to our first class that day holding hands with Logan . People were staring at me, making me prouder than I already was.

I turned to see my football coach standing next to the hallway. I dropped my arm off Logan and after a quick 'I'll be back',I walked to where he was standing.

"Hey boy,"the coach said ruffling my elegantly brushed hair earning him a snicker from me
"Hey coach"I say looking Logan's way to find him laughing with Ryder .Shouldn't mind but he was a competition.

"How are you feeling about the game tomorrow"
"Pretty psyched up . practice has been fine,"I say willing this conversation to end so I could go away

"That's great. Tell your team to meet me at the field immediately after class. We gotta start earlier than other days. "
I was to drive Logan home but I have to back out of one.

"Fine"I say sounding uneasy "Go along to your..friend?"
He says sounding questioning  but I just stare at him and say "more than that" then walk away.

"I'm back"I announce few seconds after I stand next to them.
"I noticed that Liam...Was just ignoring your presence"Logan says pouting and I swear I wanted to kiss him right there.

'Hi Ryder" I smile at him knowing there's nothing between him and Logan. They just friends.

'Hi you 'Ryder says with an enigmatic smile and walks away with a "catch you later"

"I can't drive you home today"I break the uncomfortable silence.
"Rehearsals. I know don't worry."Logan smiles at me

"So tomorrow, you having dinner at my place?"

"Yeah sure"I say kissing him as we reach his block.

"Catch ya later"I say skipping away to Science

Evening:
LOGAN'S P.O.V

I sat at the middle of the benches with China on my right and Ryder on my left. Most of the students were lingering around school.
They had been practicing for three hours now. It was five thirty.

"Hey freaks"Dylan said sitting next to Jas who was in front of me and turning a little to look at me and Ryder

"Hey Dinosaur, "I said diverting my attention to the field. They were now gathered around the coach maybe having some pep talk.

They parted he came up to where we were
"we should go home now"
I say tilting my neck from  focusing on him for too long
"Will you drive me home"I ask Jasmine giving her my occasional please but her eyes are interested on something on my neck

"You just decided we should be twins forever in everything?"she asked and I stared at her in awe

"Whaat,"
"Hickey dicky"she says with a slight snicker and I turn to Liam with a death glare my cheeks getting hot from blushing.

"Hold it there L. You are mine."he says defending himself way too fast.

"Give me one in the face then" I smirk at him turning to Jas "Now will you give me a ride? "

"Naah. I'm going to Dylan's. Your boyfriend can give you a ride"she adds picking up her back pack.

"China!"We heard a voice coming from the opposite of the parking lot. We all turned to find Crystal.
"Yes"China sighed softly.
"Its been weeks,you haven't dumped him yet?"Crystal screeched a bit irritated.
"Who?Oh sorry Connor?I just realized we were in love with each other"China shrugged.

"You were not supposed to fall in love with him"

"But baby I did"

"I'll tell him it was a game"Crystal screamed.
"Go ahea.."
Connor cut in holding China possessively "I already know and I still love her"
Crystal looked between all of us and shook his head "You goth psycho"

She walked away fuming.

"As much as that was amazing I gotta steal my boyfriend"Liam announced pulling at my hand.

"This is not the way to my home stupid"I said checking out the surroundings in Liam's car.

"I know...this is the way to McCartney's"he said stopping the car at the restaurants parking.

"I'm officially disowning you Liam"I say as I open my door and rush out.
"I know you can't"Liam says snaking his hands around my waist as we walk in.

We walk to the counter to meet his friends there . Connor at the side talking to China and Alvin talking to Ryder.

"Black coffee with lemon. Logan and Liam"Liam says as he pulls Alvin and Connor to a empty table at the far end leaving me to stroll with China.

They get into a conversation and completely ignore my existence. China seems unfazed
"I'm here guys. I don't have a clue on what you are talking about"I say raising my hands in surrender. "Neither does she"I point to China who is always filing her nails.

"Catch along,"Alvin smirks at me
"Idiot"
"Logan, Liam, Alvin Ry,China, Connor,"I hear Ryder's voice through the room.

"What's wrong with this boy,"Alvin asks hiding a slight grin as he goes to pick our orders.

"Reminds me of Logan Ry. Was infuriated that day"Liam adds taking out his phone.

"He likes messing people's names"Alvin said placing the coffee mugs on the table.
Something is up between this two.

"Mum, I'm home" I say hugging my mum and walking to my room.

"Where's Liam?"

"Liam said he'll come over tomorrow"
She nods and goes on with her work. Jasmine comes in with her flared shorts and a glass of milk in her hands.

"Guess what Lo?"
"What?Dylan broke your secondary virginity?"I ask with a snicker

"Language boy"mum said and I laugh out loud "sorry"

"I'm a virgin but that's not the point. Mum and dad are renewing their vows agaaain"she exclaims throwing her arms around me.

"They were dating behind our backs,"I say glancing over to mum who is on the verge of crying.

We head over to her and have a family hug.
"I love you two soo much"she says wiping the tears staining her cheeks."supper will be ready in a few go and freshen up"
