Chapter seventeen

LIAM'S P.O.V
"Lee. You brought him home!"My sister exclaims walking to where Logan was seated.I looked at my mum hoping she would save the day and she did.

"Aynee Parker. Food first!"
"But I want to sit next to him. He looks adorable. Lee, your boyfriend is.."Aynee starts whining while pointing at Logan

"He's not my boyfriend A"I say spooning my pasta and avoiding Logan
"Why?He is cute or are you taken?"She says taking the seat next to Logan who shakes his head reluctantly.

"Aynee. Food,"Mum says sternly. We start eating our food in silence for the next fifteen minutes before mum breaks the silence while collecting the dishes.

"So Logan, where do you stay"
"High End Street Mrs..,"he starts but mum cuts him short"Just call me Elena darling. You in the same grade?"

"Yes. Actually we share some lessons,"he says eyeing me with a stern look

"Aaawh. Do you sit together?"Aynee interjects with her spoon of dessert midair

"Sometimes we do but he's quite a snob"Logan replies lightening up

"You play football?"mum comes back can't they let him be
"Mum?"I look at her pleading with her to keep quite.

"It's fine Liam. I don't mind. I play basketball Elena"Logan states and I smirk at him knowing that  he's  trynna be good.

"Do you stay around school or with your parents?"
Logan's bright eyes turn dark as fast as they had lit up and he drops his head down. I just figured out what was weighing him down.

"I stay with my mum and twin"he says with a twinge of hurt in his eyes.
"I'm sorry"mum tries to make it better but I stand up and pull him out of the dining table saying goodnight to mum and Aynee.

"I'm sorry . She's quite interrogative," I say locking the door and following Logan to my bed. I can see his balanced up tears and I know his father's thoughts are gnawing at him. He told me he misses him.

"Lemme find something to sleep in,"I say heading to my wardrobe.

LOGAN'S P.O.V
"Can I use your laptop?"I asked allover sudden thinking about my email.
"I want to check my email"I said out when he eyed me confusion evident in his face.

I type in my password for five times almost giving up before I recall our favourite word make with dad and key it in "Jaslogaustra"
It was our family members names shortened.

"Thanks God"I scream as it unlocks and starts loading the messages.
"Messages from my grandparents too. One of them is already dead. This email is way old"I say hugging Liam who is now seated next to me his eyes glued to the page.

"Look here"he states pointing at a specific email from fifteen hours ago and from..."Austinhood Calvin! That's him"I say hitting the email with the cursor and opening it . messages from a century.

My tears wet as I realize the fact that he has always been in touch with me but I barely opened my email ever.

I have tried to keep in touch as much as I can. I don't even know when you will open this email cause you probably don't like using it but I told you it would come in handy one day. This is the only means I could talk to you . I've been updating you about my life.
Idk if you already know this but Laura and I are renewing our vows. We have been dating again! I love you son. Pass my greetings to Jas. I hope you are happy wherever you are and if you don't support our decision, feel free to tell us.

Hell yeah..I support your decision. I want my life back in together . I type in my phone number and send it to him logging off and turning to Liam.

"Thanks. You are my superhero"I say taking his hand in mine
"I want to be more than that,"he smirks at  me before hugging me.

"Huh?"I pull away confused.
"Probably this isn't the right time but I really like you Logan and I want to be part of your life,"he says carefully piecing in the right words together. Can tonight be any better. My dad..and now my crush wants me ?
