Chapter ten

LOGAN'S P.O.V

On monday I arrived to school earlier than usual . Actually I woke up early since I had spent the whole night watching shadow hunters and didn't get any sleep after that since I was contemplating about Malec(I'm a big fan of this) and my mystery guys.

I found a guy lying on my locker and I couldn't quite see his face since his back was the one facing me.

"Hey . excuse me I need  to..,"I lost my speech when he turned.The wood guy.
"Ry?,"I whispered
"I like when you say my name like that,"he said stepping away from my locker

"What do you want,"I asked putting in my locker combination and taking my biology books.

"Nothing really.wanted to see you,"he replied with his usual charming smile
"I didn't know you were in this school too"
I was now lying on my locker and he was standing infront of me.

"I've seen you coupla times . You are new though right?"My eyes had already wandered away as people paved way for his highness Liam . What's wrong with people treating him like king yet he treated them quite opposite.

He was wearing his usual unfinished  skinny  jeans and a black hood and white trainers.Walking as the king people were treating him as.He wore a white beanie which was hanging harzadly on the edge of his head . Obviously he hadn't bothered to brush his hair today.

"Hi,"he said when he reached where we were standing with Ryder.He was staring at me quizically.
"Hi"we both shrugged as he walked off.

"Do you know him?"Ryder asked.
"Know who?"China asked joining in "Hi Ryder"

I ignored their conversation and muttered more to myself when I realized Ryder's unflattering look was still on me"Not more than an annoying desk mate" I grumbled

"Oowh I see.coffee shop yester?,"he asked with one eyebrow raised.I shrugged him off and started walking to class.He was invading my privacy

"Jeez . I'm sorry.Can we hangout today after classes?"he asked following me. China was wiggling bet eyes up at me
"Or rather..lemme rephrase that. Are you busy after classes?"
"Of course he is not. See you after practice" China said pulling me in our homeroom.
"What did you just do you psycho?"I questioned her walking in between the rows.
"Karma is a bitch"She laughed taking her seat next to Connor.

I took my seat and opened my books ignoring her. Yeah,of course I was seated next to Liam but I was trying so hard to ignore his cologne

The teacher got in and started the topic.
"L?"I heard Liam whisper couple of minutes later.
"L for what?"I whispered back shocked that he was even talking to me.
"For Logan or for love"He smiled and left me staring at him as the bell signalled the end of bio. Stupid boy but here the chances of us being friends were getting higher.

LIAM'S P.O.V

The thoughts of his confused look this morning were still in my mind at the end of the day as I drove home.Was almost talking to him but the bell went so I had picked my books and left.

"Hi love,"I kissed my sister's cheek and went upstairs to take a shower.My mum was still at work.Her babysitter was in the kitchen maybe preparing supper.

I passed by and said hi then went up to my room. Lemme admit this,I might or might not be having strange feelings about Logan and honestly seeing Ryder and him together though I couldn't make a move was quite disturbing.

My feelings were starting to gnaw at me and my gaydar always went off whenever I saw him. He was a friendly guy and cute too but I was a complete asshole to him.

Alvin was coming over to my house today but instead I cancelled the plans and suggested we meet at the coffee shop.

"Hey, Anna mind telling mum I'll be back before eight when she arrives,"I asked Anna sweetly as I tied my trainers.She simply nodded her head as she checked the oven and pulled the tray of cookies she was preparing. Anna was actually a young babysitter. Around two years older than me who was trying to find an extra buck.

"Eat that as you walk out"I picked up two cookies but I dropped them when my hand got burnt.
Anna laughed "You idiot,I meant those that are cool already"
I grabbed two cookies from the next plate and walked out munching on them.
