Chapter Eight

There he was standing in all his glory. His green eyes wandered a little bit before landing on me.

I didn't recognize him . I had never seen him but his looks captivated me. His deep brown locks,the chiseled jaw and the smile he sent my way.

"Someone's drooling,"a voice snapped and I realised I was still video calling Summer,my best friend.

"Shit. I'm sorry...look at this.."I said diverting my camera to face the new guy.

But he was not where he was...he was right beside me. I felt his breathe fan me from a distance.

"Lemme call you in a few Sam" I said hanging up and staring at the guy beside me a bit flustered.

"Cute friend you got over there,"his voice. I stepped two steps backwards

"Yeah she's probably single...want her?,"I asked quite stupidly

"Jeez Louis. I don't want her...but I may want something else"he said with a chuckle. A cute chuckle.

"Shoot it"I said waiting for him to ask for Sam's number but he didn't.

He reached up to my face and pecked my cheek and left me standing there. Confused AF and wondering what the hell had happened.

He had someone with him. I don't know who but maybe his clique.

"You are red idiot,"Sam muttered " and I'm not single"

"I thought I hanged up already. Summer Lawrence you should have hang up"I whined

"I had to stick up for us...I knew you would be stuck. Thank me later. Mum is calling...bye and love you sommo,"she said hurriedly and hanged up

Sam thought sommo was cooler than so much...it was our thing though.

I put my phone in my hood and followed the rest who I didn't even know where they had gone to.

I catched up with them soon enough but after following all the wrong ways.

"Where'd you gone to,"Connor asked soon as I joined them beside the waterfall

"Calling Sam".They looked at me confused

"His bff,"Jas saved the moment.

We didn't stay for long in the woods. Dylan had driven my sister home so I had her car to myself.

I drove to McCartney's and looked for a table at the back. I placed my letter jacket on one of the benches and went to order coffee.

I pulled a twenty dollar bill and paid for the black coffee. The person behind the counter didn't take the money.

I didn't look up anyway. I placed the note on the counter and said my name to him then went back to my table to wait for my order.

I was not a frequent visitor here so I don't know who worked here.

Then the boy from the woods invaded my mind. His genuine smile. His slight peck which had sent shivers in my spi..

Someone interrupted my thoughts by slumping themselves on the chair opposite from me.

I wasn't the type to look up at anyone but I did lift my face to find one and only Liam . why now?

"Logan Ry,"I heard one of the people at the counter call. I had heard that sound somewhere.

I stood up.

"You go by Ry now?"Liam asked

"None of your....wait,Ry?That's not me"I said taking my place once again.

But when I looked at the counter I knew it was meant for me. The wood guy was smiling at me holding my coffee. He winked at me and went to the back.

God take me . I'm just surrounded by my crushes.

One snob and one mystery guy.

Who's Ry now?

"Are you together,"that was the first question Liam asked when I got back with my coffee.

"Should be none of your concern,"I said taking my letter jacket and walking out.

I know this chapter is longer than my usual chapters. I had nothing planned but the thoughts just flowed as I wrote.

Since its been long since I updated, I've bribed you with a long chapter
