"Hey y/n!" Ned, your other best friend yelled from across the corridor as he and peter walked up to your locker
"Hey guys" you said
"Here ya go Pete" you said handing him his English book " god that stark internship it really messing you up huh?"
"No!" He said defensively
"Uh yeah ever since you got it you're kinda disorganised, no offence" you said in your 'mum voice'
"Says you!" He retorted in mock offence "you always forget your books and get your bag nicked"
it's true you have to leave your stuff in alleyways while you fight crime and plenty of times it's been taken but some random person on the streets
"Guys chill" Ned said as he chuckled at your dumb fight
You both laughed and the bell rang
The day dragged on slowly and when it ended you couldn't wait to get out and fight crime- it's what keeps you sane and it's not like you have a curfew-
Technically you lived with your mum but she was always out because she worked a few hours away and only came home in the middle of the night every 5 days so you basically never saw her. You didn't really care you were never close and didn't really agree with each other on anything an you are 16 almost 17 you can look after yourself!
You rushed to an alleyway and pulled on your 'suit'. Then you flew to the rooftop after kicking your bag under a dumpster.
Another thing you could do- fly, all you had to do was make freezing air come out of your feet and hands and it propelled you forwards (I know this wouldn't work but just role with it)
You sat down with your legs dangling over the edge of the building, looking over New York waiting for something to happen- you turned on your radio, you had peter tinker with it so it told you police reports and where then needed back up
he thought it was weird you wanted it but you said it was because you wanted to know where to stay away from and he didn't really care that much to deny you
"Uh hi" a voice behind you said
You jumped up and turned around just to come face to face with a guy in spandex
"Hello spider man"
