Chapter 17

Peter took a deep breath and stepped into the meeting room, he had called ahead for the group of Tony, Steve, Thor, Natasha, Bruce, Clint, Wanda, Pietro and vision to assemble but not tell Fury or anyone else. Tony was first to speak

"What's this about then?"

" as you all know" peter began " a few of us have been searching for the superhero cold front" he paused taking out the paper from his pocket

"I am friends with her, and was with her when Natasha called me like 30 minutes ago"

"You were WITH HER?!" Tony yelled

"Tony" Steve said in a threatening tone "let him finish" Tony huffed

"Well first of all you really did some damage to her arm mr stark" peter began

"What? What about my suits arm?! I had to completely dismantle it and put it back together!" Tony complained

"Tony!" Steve barked sending warning glares his way, once again Tony just huffed

"Uh And Well also" peter continued "she overheard nat talking about this entire thing 'going to shit"

"Language!" Yelled Steve

"Her words not mine!" Peter said defensively

"Uh well she felt really bad and wanted to like tell you she felt bad but it's a little complicated because well, I don't know! She wrote a letter, I haven't even see it yet but she told me to read it out to you guys."

"Go on then" vision said

"YES MAN OF SPIDERS READ THE LETTER" Thor boomed

"Right well there are kind of 'terms and conditions' things you all need to agree to first" peter said scratching the back of his neck.

"Terms and conditions?!" A shocked Tony asked

"Uh yeah kind of" said peter sheepishly

"Vot are they?"asked Wanda in her think accent

" Uh well she gave me a sheet I think" peter said, he pulled it out, cleared his throat and read:

So  this is a letter to the AVENGERS but you cannot give this to anyone in SHEILD or read it to them or tell them what it says or anything along those lines and if you can't do that then peter will burn this paper

"Why the hell cant we tell anyone from SHIELD?" Tony asked

"Well uh she said there are spies from HYDRA in SHIELD and uh well I think it explains it in the letter but I'm pretty sure HYDRA want her dead"peter said

"Why would HYDRA want her dead?" Clint thought out loud

"It explains in the letter you twit" Natasha says earning a glare from Steve

"So you all need to agree to that and she said even if only one of you refused then I need to burn the paper"

"What does the letter even tell us?" Tony asks, skeptical about the situation

"She said it says it says How sorry she is, why She can't let you take her to SHIELD and how She got her powers. She also said it was sad but the truth"

"Im in" said Bruce

Everyone turned to look at him, he usually never spoke up in meetings unless he needed to.

"What? I don't care what SHIELD knows and I mean I want to know, so why not?"

There were murmurs Of agreements then peter spoke up

"So Bruce?"
"I agree to the terms"
"Pietro?"
"I agree"
"Wanda?"
"Me too"
"Vision?"
"I agree"
"Clint?"
"Sure"
"Thor?"
"I AGREE TO THE CONDITIONS PLACED UPON-"
"Great, Natasha?"
"I'm in"
"Captain?"
"Okay, I agree"
"Mr stark?
"I'm not sure.."
There was a collected groan and complaints heard from everyone in the room (as well as a few select words chosen by Natasha thrown his way)

"what?! I don't trust her, what if that is a confession to killing a whole bunch of people, then we can't tell SHIELD" Tony said

"Mr stark trust me, cold front can be trusted, I swear to you" peter said

"Fine I agree to the terms but this better no backfire kid"

"Thanks mr stark" Peter said " and well obviously I agree to the terms, ok let's open this!" Peter couldn't mask the excitement in his voice  he cleared his throat and began;
