You lay awake  thinking about that day and peters problem- it was ridiculously similar to yours, in fact almost exactly the same suddenly realisation hit you- peter is spider man

Now you know you realise how obvious it was! Stupid, stupid y/n

That was why he was being disorganised, he was stressed about the superhero thing! And all the puns both of them make and that was his voice you heard and aggghhhh it is painfully obvious how HOW did you not realise?!

Wait do you think he will figure out you're cold front? No he couldn't, or could he? No I mean that crazy right ?

But what if he did find out? Would he tell the avengers? Would they come to your house and take you? No he- he wouldn't do that I mean he said he felt bad

Dam it! Why did it have to be him, him if all people! You need to talk to him and tell him, no that's a bad idea, or is it? If he finds out your cold front by himself then he could go strait to the avengers but if you told him you could see his reaction and make him swear not to say!

Yes that's the plan, you change into some jeans, a t shirt a hoodie and a jacket because it was winter and you didn't want to look weird even if you would be fine with just a t shirt then you pick up you phone

You hesitate just before you pressed call on peters contact details, was this really a good idea? Yes, yes you needed to do this

You took a deep breath and hit the call button

It rang once
Come on peter I know your there!

It rang twice
Come on Pete!

It rang a third time
Please pick up peter!

It rang a fourth time
"H-hello?"

"Peter!" I half yelled down the phone

"Y/n? Are you ok why are you calling in the middle of the night?"

"Peter I need to see you NOW it's an emergency meet me in the park on the beach you, me and Ned always sit on got it?"

"Uh right yeah sure got it be there in 5"

Then you hung up, adrenaline rushed through your veins as you grabbed your keys and walked through the door

*a few minutes later you are waiting for Pete on a park bench*

You watched your breath in front of you as you waited, you tapped your foot in anticipation, you were jittery and scared and exited and wow you had never felt so alive!

But wait what if this goes wrong? What if he freaked out what if he gives you to the avengers to experiment on you? Your heart dropped, what if this was a bad idea? Oh god!

"Y/n! Are you ok?" Peter said as her jogged over

Dam it too late now

"PETER" you yell and you fling yourself at him giving him a bone crushing hug

.... don't ask ok? You panicked!

" woah are-are you ok I came as quick as I could! What happened?" Peter asked pulling you from your thoughts

"Oh Uh yeah I Uh need to talk to you about something big and you might think of me differently and I mean hell I think of you differently and I mean I should have realised sooner but I was dumb and I-I well I guess it just seemed so impossible I just blocked the thought out of my mind and I guess I am just in a bit of a freak out and I needed to co—" you rambled in 100 miles per hour until peter interrupted you

"Wait wait a minute! Slow down let's sit down and you can tell me what's happened like a normal human"

You both sat and you took a deep breath

"Pete I- I know you're" you met his eyes and whispered "spider man"

Peter looked more than shocked than if he just discovered the planet was run by evil monkeys intent on human destruction and more

"I- I What?" He stuttered

"I know that you're Spider-Man" you said again more confidently

"N-no I don't know what you mean" he said

"Pete you don't need to hide it, it's fine your ok, I'm not going to tell a single living soul not even Ned" you said

"Uh right well uh Ned kinda already knows" peter said

"What?"

"I mean it was an accident that he found out"

" Uh cool right well there is something else I need to-"

" it's not that I trust Ned more than you I mean he found out by accident and I made him not tell anyone even you because I just I want to protect you guys you know"peter said quickly

" Huh well I don't think you trust Ned more than me I just Well Uh you don't need to protect me because you see-"

"No y/n I do need to protect you, if you got hurt I could never forgive myself! I mean the I know you probably wouldn't understand but the superhero business it's dangerous" peter interrupted again

"Well I would understand actually because I'm -"

"No y/n it's more dangerous than you would think you know people die"

" and so I need you to promise to stay away from superhero things I get myself into I know you want to help but you could easily get hurt"

"I can defend myself because I am-"

"No y/n you can't defend yourself, some of the things I go up against are seriously dangerous I know you could never realise how scary it is when you are face yo face with them"

"Ok you have to promise not to freak out ok?" You say

Peter nods hopping not to provoke another one of your yelling fits
