Chapter 31

"Y/n? Please, please wake up"

You open your eyes, everything was fuzzy and disoriented.

"Ghhnnn" you groan

"Guys! I think she's woken up"

"Pete?" You ask as you strain your eyes to see in the bright light

"Hiya, how are you feeling?" Peter asked

"Like shit" you replied

"Hehe" he laughed

You begin to sit up on your elbows but  someone tries to push you back down

"Nu Uh" that someone says "you should not be sitting up"

"Piss off" you say as you sit up

You look around, you were in a hospital room with Tony, Steve, Natasha, Wanda and peter siting in various positions around you. It looked like it was Steve who tried to push you back down as he was standing on your right side with his arms crossed

"Hello" you greet

"I will excuse your language this once because you saved our lives" Steve begins "but just know-"

"What?" You ask

Then you recalled what had happened and instantly sat fully up which you regretted because your head felt like it was going to explode

"Woah missy sit dow-" Steve starts but you interrupt

"What the fuck happened to Anna? Is she gone? Did I kill her? Are you guys ok? How are your burns? Peter, how's your head? How long have I been asleep? What will-"

"Y/n calm down!" Tony yells as you ramble on at 100 miles per hour " I have a hangover you are making my head hurt"

"Think how She feels" Natasha comments

There was silence for about 10 seconds until you break it

"Well?"

"Well what?" Steve asks

"Well answer my questions!" You reply

"You asked like a thousand questions can you give us a recap?" Tony asked

You glare at him and began

" what happened to Anna?"

Everyone looked uncomfortable and seemed to not want to answer you

"Y/n she's gone" peter said as he put a hand on your shoulder

Guilt flows through you and you duck your head so the others wouldn't see your tears fall

"It wasn't your fault y/n" Steve says comfortingly

"She was like my sister! H-how could I have- have" You could not finish that sentence

you can't have killed her! There must be something wrong!

"You had to or she would have killed us all" Natasha reassured but it didn't help the feeling of utter despair that was now sitting in your stomach

"Thanks to you the world is safe from HYDRA for a while longer" Wanda speaks up from the back

"I know how you feel, I can feel your guilt and sadness. I know how much she meant to you. Steve told me what you said to her- all the torture you took for her. It is sad but the truth of HYDRA is they are nothing if not cruel. That was not Anna, HYDRA killed her a long time ago. I know there is nothing I can say to make you feel better, anyone of us would take this burden from you if we could but I hope you can accept that you did the right thing and we are very proud of you"

She patted you feebly on the back and you looked up to her

You reached out and hugged her, and sobbed on her shoulder

"Thank you" you whispered

"It is nothing" she replied

You let go and Steve spoke up

"Other questions?"

"Are you guys all ok?"You ask

"Yeah we're fine, Tony was out for a few days but is ok now, Wanda had a mild concussion and cuts on her back, nat also had a concussion and a fractured leg, Pete hit his head pretty hard and was out for a day and had a bad burn on his side and we all had various burns"

"And you?" You ask

"All good now" he replied

You sighed in relief

Wait but if Tony was out for a few days how long have you been out for?

"How long have I been asleep?" You ask

"11 days"

"11 DAYS?!" You scream

"Calm down you're ok" Tony says

"Can I get up?" You ask

"I wouldn't you were pretty banged up" Steve replied

"You have serious burns all over, were completely physically drained, had a broken leg, fractured arm and skull and well I mean this isn't an injury but your skin turned blue"

"My skin turned blue?"

"Yeah you looked really funky" peter said with a laugh

You glared at him and flicked your left arm and made a pile of snow fall on his head. You laughed so hard and it felt amazing! You looked up and immediately stopped laughing as everyone was staring at you

"What?" You ask

"Uh your arm is kinda..." Tony trailed of

You look down at your left arm and screamed- it was blue

"It looks like whenever you use your powers your skin turns blue" Natasha says

You look at your hand like it was the first time seeing it

"Fascinating" tony says as he sits up " it looks like the cells in whatever part of your body you use to transmit your powers mutates to a blue colour due to the mutation of radioactive quantum-"

"I'm gonna stop you there and ask is my skin going to like, you know, stay blue?" You ask

"Oh! No look at your hand it's already back to normal"

You looked at your hand and sure enough your skin looked Normal again

"Cool" You say "hehe get it?"

Everyone groaned and you laughed

Everything was going to be fine
