It was now morning. Everyone was the dining room having breakfast, excluding two certain loud individuals.

"Where's Naruto and Natsumi?" Sakura aksed.

"Naruto's still training the wood and I since I couldn't find Natsumi anywhere she's probably joining him." Kakashi answers blandly.

"So he's been training all night, huh? I wouldn't be surprise if he's dead by now. Sam goes for Natsumi. You know, from using so much chakra." Sakura said casually.

"Naruto and Natsumi may be total goofballs, but they're full fledged ninja." Kakashi said.

Sasuke suddenly stood up from his seat, "I'm going for a walk." He said as he began to walk out the door.

"But Sasuke-" Sakira didn't get to finish her statement for he had already left the room.

Meanwhile with Naruto and Natsumi, they were sleeping soundly nexy to each other after a long night of training. Birds softly pecking on their faces though they didn't seem to be affected in any way.

"Huh?" A young "girl" who was about the same age as them peered over them with curiosity.

"You'll catch a cold if you sleep here." Her smooth voice called out as she slightly nudges their shoulders, "Wake up."

With a groan, Naruto cracked his eyes open, only to be face to face with the girl. He sat up before looking at her, "Who the heck are you? Oh, uh, uh, I mean, hi there. Where did you come from?" He asked with slightly pink cheeks after took a good look at her.

"Naru? Are you talking to yourself again?" Natsumi asked in a groggy voice as she sat up besides him. She the attractive girl he was talking to, "Who the heck are you?"

The girl chuckled, "I'm gathering herbs." She answers Naruto's question.

"Herbs?" The two chorused together.

"Yes, that's right. They're for treating illnesses in human wounds."

"That's sounds cool. If you want we could help ya. Right, Naru?" She as she stood up. Naruto looked up, "Huh? Uh, yeah we'll help! Natsu can sniff out the herbs your looking for while we gather them."

The girl was taken off guard before showing a tiny smile, "Thank you for your kindness."

~Mini Timeskip~

"You start work early, huh, sis?" Naruto questions the girl across from him.

"I like it early. It's calm. But I didn't think I'd find anyone sleeping out here in the woods." She answered as Naruto sheepishly grins.

"I'm training with Natsu's help."

"Hm? So are you guys ninja? Because I couldn't help but notice those headbands you two are wearing. Or are you guys just making a fashion statement?" The girl asked.

"I'm very glad you noticed. You see, only super-cool ninja like Naruto and I can wear these very cool headbands." Natsumi grinned as she wraps her arm around his head neck, resulting for the blonde to jump with a blush bright pink because of the level of closeness.

"Oh, really. Very impressive." The girl praised as the two laughed proudly. "But, does that mean you're training for something dangerous."

"We're just developing our skills, so that we can get stringer."

"You seem very strong now. Isn't that enough?"

"Of course not. There's no such thing as becoming too strong. I don't train to become stronger because I want the power that comes with it, I train to become stronger so that i can protect those I hold dear. Naru wants to become the Hokage some day and I want to be there with him to support his dreams." Natsumi said with a bright smile.
