Team 7 returned to the village Hidden in the Leaves from their in the Land of Waves. Natsumi managed to convince both Haku and Zabuza to go talk to the Hokage so that they can make amends and discuss about staying in the village. Natsumi's wounds are healing pretty well though scars will remain once it's fully healed. Sasuke also seems comfortable keeping a decent conversation with Natsumi know, even going through the lengths to call her Natsu. He also argues with Naruto more often ever since the mission.
"Are you sure about this Zabuza? What if she's not home?" Haku nervous voice spoke behind Natsumi's door. He was holding a basket full of different treats and goodies he had bought with Zabuza. The older male that was standing besides him sighed with slight annoyance. Ever since they got finished speaking to the Hokage, Haku's been pestering him about getting something for the salmon haired girl as a thank you for giving them a second chance in this village. Even though Zabuza agreed, they ended up using his money which he's a little ticked off about. But, if it's to spend on his savior, he doesn't really mind much.
"Just knock on her door, Haku. You're the one who begged to go see her after all." Zabuza teased as he watched Haku's feminine face exploded with pink.
"S-Shut up." Haku stuttered as he brought his shaky hand up to the door and knocked three times. He took a shaky breath, more nervous than before as he ignored Zabuza's smirk.
Faint footsteps could be heard on the other side before the sound of the lock unlocking and the door slowly opened. Showing Natsumi and her bedhair.
"Oh, Haku, Zabuza! Good to see you again. What are doing here?" Natsumi greeted with a groggy voice as she yawned.
"W-Well, w-we just--uh, we just got back from speaking to the H-Hokage and decided to buy you something...t-to show you out appreciation." Haku struggled to form as his cheeks grew redder.
Natsumi tilted her head, "Oh, really? You didn't have to do that. Come in." She held the door wider as the two walked in her home. "I'll be right back. I just need to change."
They watched as she walked into her room, closing the room. Haku placed the basket on the coffee table and took a good look around his surroundings. It was a small place but also homey, and warm. It's not clean yet isn't too dirty. He smiled as he felt the welcoming aura.
Zabuza watched from the couch, "Already making yourself at home? Who knows, she might invite you to live with her."
Haku snapped out of his thoughts as he sent a glare in his direction as he chuckled. But, he couldn't help but imagine. How it would've felt if she did. His heart hammered in his chest just thinking about it. He looked at the picture that was hanging off the walls. Most of them were pictures with her and that Uchiha kid. Some of them from what he believed were her classmates from her academy. The most recent one was taken with her squad team. Sasuke and Naruto were glaring at each other as Sakura smiled in front of them. Kakashi had his hands resting on the boys head as Natsumi sat on his shoulders, a wide grin plastered on her bright face as she held two peace signs.
He frowned once he noticed that they never taken a picture together.
He'll have to ask in the future.
It was pretty quiet as Sasuke and Sakura stood on the bridge, at a safe distance. (For Sasuke) Around 6 feet. Sasuke was leaning on the rails of thd bridge, occasionally glancing at both sides of the bridge while Sakura stood quietly with her arms crossed.
Running footsteps could be heard as they both turned towards the sound only to see both Naruto and Natsumi running in their direction.
"Good morning, Sakura. What's up?" Naruto greeted the pink haired girl. Natsumi decided to take a break from attempting to befriend her.
