Penelope Esther Disney.

Kenley's baby sis.

And my saviour.

So here I am, stepping over the threshold of the Disney's home, hoping to get all the damn help I need from my saviour and then, I remember the reason why I stopped visiting my friend's house a long time back.

Because the house is a fucking tribute to Disney cartoons.

As soon as I stepped through the front door, I was greeted by a large framed sketch of Mickey Mouse, hanging on the opposite wall. Looking right, I saw the staircase leading to the rooms upstairs, each step had the face of a smiling-like-a-drugged Disney character. The wall clock on the left was in the shape of Mickey's face and the sofa kept just below it was of upholstery made of dozens of small dancing cartoons. Looking anywhere around the house, I was greeted by something or the other related to Disney cartoons.

Taking a deep breath, I closed my eyes and pinched the bridge of my nose. Let's face it. I have never really been a fan of cartoons. It was specially irking me that this house seemed to be a living tribute to it. When I looked up to Kenley, his face was flushed with embarrassment and he sent me an apologetic look. I shrugged back at him.

I remember when I had first visited his house, I had freaked out on seeing the decor. Only a nuthead wouldn't notice the blatant theme as soon as he entered. But then, Kenley had explained it to me and then, it somehow made sense to me in a weird twisted way. You see, Mr and Mrs "Disney" work at ...well... Disneyland.

Trust me, even I didn't believe Kenley that time. It sounds so damned clichéd. But apparently, they are crazy about their job and when they married, they decided they wanted their name to "proclaim" their love for Disney. Obviously, no one in the gang knows Kenley's last name other than Chris, Ed and me.

Kenley has two younger sisters, Penelope and Rapunzel. Clearly, his parents didn't think too far to name his siblings. I always had a nagging suspicion that Kenley isn't his real name and that his parents may have given him some really awkward name from Barbie world. But whenever I ask him, he denies it. I swore to myself that I would find it out.

Someday.

"Hey Kenley!"

"Yes, Lex?"

"What's your real name?" I quipped, a broad grin on my face.

His face turned red and he coughed self-consciously "I dunno what ya talking about" he muttered.

I gave him a huge smile and shrugged back at him. One fine day, I would find out his real name and then, I would never let him hear the end of it. I laughed and gestured to him to call his sister.

"Penny" he hollered, clearly still embarrassed "Alexis is here to meet you!".

We heard a muffled voice from upstairs "Come on up!" He gestured up the stairs and I followed him, purposely stepping on the freaky cartoon faces on the steps, as they all stared back at me with those creepy smiles. The house was eerily silent so I figured the Disney fans were out.
