Our whole house was covered in blue balloons. It was Eliot's 1st birthday.

I wore a knee length white strapless lace dress. With black pump heels. My brown hair was half up half down. I was finishing up the buffet table with mom. Well actually mom and me were telling the caters where to put everything.

Mia also wore a knee lengthy dress,but her dress was light blue,Black wedges and diamond earrings Jacob bought her on their first Anniversary. Speaking of Jacob he wore a shots shirt. A blue tie that matches with Mia's dress. Dress pants and dress shoes.

All the guest had started showing up.

All the kids were either playing in the bouncy castle or with the clowns and face painters.

Mia and Jacob went all out. After all it is their first child's first birthday.

After appetizers. Everyone grabbed a seat and was told to look at the out door screen.

"Thank you to all for coming to celebrate my son Eliot's first birthday. Now we shall all watch his slide show. Once again thanks. Enjoy!" Jacob said

Now all of Eliot's pictures from birth to now were playing on the screen. Even the one I took yesterday with him.

This baby treats me like I am his mom not like his aunt. He is more like my child. He some what reminds me of Jake. Just the way he smile when you tickle him or the way he scrunches his noes when he doesn't like something or the way his perfect little blue eyes look you straight in your eyes. When he grows up he is going to have lines and lines of girls behind him. Just like his Father.

Happy Birthday to you " everyone sang when Mia, Jacob were about to cut the cake.

He was so excited to see everyone that he was laughing and jumping up and down. The beautiful blue block cake was now being cut in to pieces to be served.

This cake ....this cake is off the hook its so delicious. I could eat this my whole life if I had to.

"Ladies and gentlemen please join us on the dance floor." Jacob said as he went to the dance floor. Right when the dj started the song. Me, mom, Mia, Marcus, Jacob and Eliot were dancing. Next thing you kno it's been two hours and nobody wants to leave the dance floor. Everyone is their, unless they are in the bathroom, getting a drink, hurt, OR can't dance.

"Dinner will be served 10 minutes." The dj said in the mic.

After 10 minutes of dancing. People got their dinner and got a drink.

After eating people either got up to dance again or go home. Around 10pm everyone had left.
