Me and Marcus walked into the neighbourhood.

"I can't believe this" I whispered

They never left them alone.

A door down the street opened. A man dragged a young girl out on the street. You could see her begging her parents to help her but they just stood their.

He put the yelling and screaming girl into the van.

I held onto Marcus's arm tighter.

"Don't worry." he whispered.

After they left. We walked up to the house where all this occurred. We rang the bell.

The man opened it.

"What do you want." He looked terrified

"We are new here. We just got married. We were on our way to our honeymoon but our car broke down" Marcus talked to the man.

The man looked around "hurry get in".

"Hello my name is Cassie Wortoff. He Is my husband Daniel Wortoff. Those are my kids. Raven and Jon. " A woman gave us water. You could see the fake smile her and her whole family were putting on.

"I am Marcus and this is Julie my wife" Marcus answered. I was shocked at his story.

"May I ask who and why was the woman getting pulled out of your house is" I asked

They all just stood their looking at each other. What were they hiding.

"In this town it's better to have sons." The man said

I could see that Mrs.Wortoff had tears in her eyes.

"That was my daughter Phiana. She was 16. They only take girls. When they take them they either sell them or they ra-" she Burst in to tears.

I was so scared and shocked. I never noticed when my hand was intwined with Marcus.

"D-do they ever c-come back ?" I looked straight at Mr.Wortoff

He hesitated and then shook his head. I could tell he was hiding something.

"Is there a hotel by here" Marcus asked

"NO, not here." he answered "you may stay here in the guest house down the street."

"They will charge you but will allow you to stay for about a day or two."

"Thanks sir" Marcus answered

We left their house and started to walk to the Guest house.

When we arrived at the guest house. I tightened my grip on Marcus hand that I never left since we left the house.

"Excuse me. Our car broke down can we stay here for the night" Marcus talked with the big scary guy in the rocking chair.

"Well sure man. You and your pretty lady can stay here tonight." He had the perverted eye.

It was like Marcus noticed that. His grip had tightened on my hand.

"Thanks can we get the key please" Marcus asked

"Here just up the right" the guy pointed to the stairs

We walked upstairs and our room was the second one to the right.

We opened the door and walked in. There was one bed, one bathroom and one table.

"It's nice - ish" I looked around

"I will sleep on the floor and you can sleep on the bed" Marcus said as I walked in.

"Oh um ok" I walked up to the window

Around 12 at night I heard screaming. It sounded really close. It was a scream of a girl.

I got up and looked out the window.

It was the same girl we saw earlier. She was running down the street. "So they do come back huh?" I almost jumped. I turned around and saw it was Marcus.

"Yea I guess so" just as we were about to turn around. I heard a jeep turn around the corner. The girl tumbled when she saw the jeep. She kept running. My eyes widened

"Wait why is the guy standing what's in his han-" Marcus spun me around and hugged me tight

Bam bam bam

"Nooooooooo" I screamed

Tears were rushing down my face. I was frozen in shock. They let her free just so they could kill her. Marcus held me tight.

We stood there for a bit.

"Julie I think you should go to sleep" Marcus took me to the bed.

" can you please stay with me up here " I said

"Um if that's ok with you then sure" he asked

"Please"

He came around and slept on the other side.

I closed my eyes and I saw that girl trying to run home. The guy aiming at her and "ahhhhh" I sat up straight.

"Are you ok"Marcus asked

I hugged him right away.

"Julie lets go to bed"

I just needed to get these people Justice. I had to for Phiana, for her family, for all girls, for Jake.
