THIS IS A AU WHERE THE SIDES ARE EACH THEIR OWN INDIVIDUAL PERSON, ANY AND ALL SIMALARITYS TO REAL LIFE PEOPLE ARE PURLEY COINCIDENTAL

"Ok class now we can go outside until the bell rings! Have an awesome summer and make sure to do lots of reading!" I felt warm tears swell up in my eyes as I looked at my class, just yesterday they were my 3rd-grade pupils and now they are 4th graders about to leave for the summer.

"Mr. Moral?"

I turned around and saw Sarah B looking up at me. She grabbed me by the hand and dragged me to the back table near the class library.

"Me and the class got you a bunch of gifts and drawings to say goodbye!"

I looked at the table and sure enough, it was cluttered with cards, and drawings, cookies and flowers. Now I really was crying, nothing in the world brought me more joy than being able to work with kids. I crouched down and smiled at my class with tears rolling down my cheeks

"You all are going to be fantastic people one day! I just know it! Group hug?"

All the kids ran to me giggling and smiling, all except a select few gave me a tight embrace. I wanted to stay in this moment forever, but I knew that I couldn't.

"OK kiddos! Time to go play outside till the bell! I still have a few things to clean up before I leave. Be good for Miss. Weaver!"

I watched as my class left through the back door then started to put all my stuff from my desk into boxes, Pictures of me and Virgil from when we went camping, a vintage figurine of a little yellow bear holding a jar of "Hunny". I think its a character named Winnie from an old Disney cartoon. I've never personally got the luxury of being able to watch this cartoon but I liked the way the character looked, happy and chubby, his hand in his mouth with Honey dripping down his face. I have a small collection of items with this character on them, all of which I had to save up to buy since they are older and come from a time before the "Elic Movement". The world was not always divided into 2. Brains and Hearts used to live together in harmony and were even working and creating together but then a man named Eric Elic created a movement in which as soon as you leave Highschool, you will get tested and the test determines if you are a Brain or a Heart. Brains are very high class, Hearts are less high class. He also in the process destroyed most things involving the past and or placed it in a museum based on its worth

I'm a heart, meaning I'm more emotional and get to work in jobs involving children, the general public, or simple tasks such as cleaning or cooking. Brains work with jobs that involve intelligence or creativity such as writers, singers, historians, hell they write out the lesson plans for everything I teach, which reminds me... I picked up a white journal up off my desk, it was pure white and read "Third Grade Lesson Plans and curriculum" I scoffed and threw it in the trash. I've always hated the damn book, teaching it was stupidly boring for not just the students but for me too. Couldn't they find a way to make it more engaging? Especially for the kids considering they have short attention spans! I packed up the drawings and gifts the children gave to me, threw on my grey sweater and left the classroom.

On the train ride back I thought about my plans for tonight. First I need to make dinner since Virgil really isn't really the cooking type. The last time he tried to cook was for my birthday when he tried to make pancakes for me. I came home to the apartment being filled with smoke, the fire detector blaring and Virgil on the floor in tears. He had badly burnt the pancakes causing the fire alarm to go off and when he couldn't figure out how to turn the alarm off he got an anxiety attack. We ended up going to the store, buying a cake and ordering take out. After I cook and eat I need to apply for some summer jobs since there isn't exactly much work for me as a teacher during the summer break. After that, I will tidy my room then help Virgil Tidey his, since he seems to have a bit of trouble keeping it neat. This wouldn't be a problem if it weren't for the fact that the apartment is expected to be clean at all times and if it gets too dirty we can get kicked out. For the rest of the night...I'm going to stay up listening to my vintage CDs and coloring.
