FRIENDS DIE.. FRIENDSHIP LIVES!!

Chapter 6

'What happened? 'My mom asked suddenly and I realized that once again I was thinking about my friends.
I shook my head and she told me that we were almost there. I looked at those kids. They were holding each other's hand and looked like they would never let it go.

We reached Mumbai. I stepped down and felt the light breeze blow my hair. We took a cab to reach our old house. I was very excited. When I was in London, my friends had called me at least once in a week. I'd been away for 6 years now. Everyone was well settled now.

Kat was a new doctor and was quite successful  and well known in Mumbai. Shein was a famous celebrity now and Alisha was a business tycoon. Paul was also a businessman and it was doing okay. Blake was a renowned professor in a well known university. I was an eminent writer and I had written a few plays and novels and I was currently working on a story, based on friendship.

We reached home. I was staring at my lovely house for a few minutes before going inside. All the furnitures were clean and shiny, devoid of dust, since our neighbour had called the janitor and he had cleaned the house. I ran to my room and jumped on my old bed. I missed it so much!!!

I washed and then called Kat, who was very delighted listening this.
I wanted to ask Kat something from days but couldn't, so I asked her now.

'Is everything okay between you guys, Kat? '
'W.. What? Why.. Why would you ask that?.... Everything's okay!! 'Kat stuttered.
'Tell me the truth, Kat, '
'Heck!! Fine.. Meet me at the Cafe Military and I'll tell you everything, ' she said sighing.
'I'm coming, 'I told her. I took a cab and reached the cafe.

I saw a figure sitting alone at the back,  face away from me and I recognized her as Kat at once. As I came near, she noticed me and hugged me tightly. I hugged her back. It was so good to see her!! We sat and ordered our favourite chocolate shake. I told her about London a bit, as she knew most of it. She had called me at least daily.

As soon as we got our shakes, I came to the point.
'Now tell me what's happening here, '
I could tell by her face that she was struggling with the words.
'I don't know from where to start, '
'You guys kept things away from me!'  I said shocked. 'I can't believe it!! We promised that we would share all the secrets and never lie to each other, right?' I said banging the table. I didn't care if everyone was watching us. I had to know what was going on.

'Rosh!! Please. This is a long story. After you left, we were in touch and everything was going normal. But gradually, we all got into different professions and were busy with ourselves. However, we were still in touch after two years passed by, with you gone. Then after a time we all broke, because of something that happened that day and ruined our friendship, 'she explained.
'Which day?! What happened? Can you please tell me everything clearly!!'
Then she started telling me the whole story...

**Well guys!!Sorry couldn't upload from some days because my school is going on and so I have to balance my timetable and all with book writing. But I'm uploading two chapters together!! So you won't have to wait so long for every chapter. So....  I hope you all are enjoying the story and not finding it boring. Well..
