Sarah's POV
I look at my reflection in the full-length mirror, my hair is perfectly curled, my makeup is applied without a fault, I have on my dark purple cocktail dress that ends just a little bit above my knee, and I also have on a pair of black heels with a strap around my ankle. I am very happy with myself, I know Thomas wouldn't care what I wore but to me it is important. I sigh and walk downstairs, and just as I make it to the bottom step I notice Thomas is waiting for me. His dark brown hair is slicked back as always, he is wearing a dark blue suit jacket with a white dress shirt underneath, the tie around his neck is dark blue with some kind of light blue design, dark blue dress pants that match his tie and his jacket, and on his feet are a pair of white dress shoes. "New suit?" I ask him walking up to him and placing a kiss on his lips. "I bought it just for tonight." I roll my eyes, "So where are we going?" A smile stretches on Thomas's face. "That is a surprise." I smile back him, "You know I love surprises." Thomas places one of his fingers on my lips. "Well, I guess you are just going to have to trust me. You trust me don't you?" I push back a strain of his hair that is out of place, "I trust you with my life." That was fact, I couldn't think of one person that I trusted more than my Thomas. "And you know it's safe with me." Thomas holds out his hand and I take lacing our fingers. "I love you." I say, but I notice Thomas's eyes shift from me to something behind me, and as I turn my head I see exactly what caught Thomas's attention. Cole walks into the room looking like he is going on a date just like Thomas and I, his honey blonde hair is slicked back, his favorite necklace is around his neck, he is wearing a black suit jacket with a light blue shirt, black dress pants, and black dress shoes. Thomas walks away from me and up to Cole, and as the two of them stand next to each other it's eerie to see just how much alike the two of them really are. "Cole, where are you off to looking so handsome?" I smile walking over to the two of them. "Cole is going to be driving us." I hear Thomas say as my attention shifts from Cole to Thomas. "Why is Cole coming with us? It's supposed to be our special night." Cole puts his hands in the pockets of his dress pants, "How many times do I have to tell you, there are people out in the city that would have problem going after you just to get to me." I don't say anything because I know there is no point in arguing with him, this is our first date in weeks, and I was not going to ruin it, "Fine, can we please go?" Thomas nods his head to Cole who goes into the garage. "You look lovely by the way, a stunning vision of heaven." I feel my cheeks slush with red, even after all this time he can still male me blush. "You look handsome too." Thomas grabs my hand and leads me to the garage. As we make our way to the car Thomas picked out to take out tonight, I couldn't help the excitement that came over me as I start bouncing around, "Really? We are taking Diamond out tonight?" Thomas smirks at me seeing how happy I am, Diamond is one of my favorite cars we own, it is a beautiful Lykan HyperSport, and the reason it holds a special place in my heart is because Thomas bought this car for our very first date. "I know you are attached to this car and tonight is a special night." Cole is already in the driver seat waiting for Thomas and I. Thomas opens the car door for me taking my hand helping me into the car, once I am inside Thomas gets inside on the other side, and soon enough we are off to an unknown destination. As we are driving I look out the window admiring the city, the city itself is all lit up, people doing their own thing without a care in the world, some are caring bags, other are dealing with their kids, I see a couple making out while sitting on a bench, and of course some are talking with what must be either friends or family. I look at amazement because I can't imagine what this city would be like without Thomas around. I am pulled from my thoughts by the car coming to a stop, I look up at the sign on the building 'The Rare Blend' I look over at Thomas, "Booky not that I don't like the romance of fine dining, but this is the most expensive restaurant in all of Liberty Falls." Thomas just shrugs his shoulders. "You are worth every penny." And before I can say anything Thomas gets out of the car walking around to my side opening my door and putting his hand for me. I smile at his gesture slipping my hand into his as he helps out of the car closing the door behind me. "Shall we?" he asks, and I nod my head as we head inside the restaurant. Thomas opens the door for me and I walk, and I had to let out a breath of astonishment, the inside of the restaurant is beautiful the walls are painted a dark brown, chandelier that is made out of twinkling lights hangs high on the celling, and what really catches me off guard is that there are people around because I would have thought Thomas would have rented the place out so the two of us would be alone. I suddenly feel arms wrap around my waist. "What do you think?" I turn around in his arms looking up at him, "Thomas, this place is amazing." I stand up on my tippy toes giving him a gentle kiss on his lips. "But I have to say that you surprised me even more by not renting the whole place out." Thomas lets out a huge breath of air. "Tonight isn't about me flaunting off who I am, tonight is about us being like everyone else for one night." Thomas walks off to the front desk as he starts talking to the girl about something, and for some reason the girl's eyes go wide with her nodding her head quickly. Seconds later Thomas waves at me to join him, and make my way over to him looking at him with utter confusion. "What is it?" I ask, but before I can get an answer another girl interrupts us. "Follow me please." The girls start walking into the main part of the restaurant having Thomas and I follow her. We make it to our table, and I give Thomas a look telling him that I know he had to pull some strings to get us this table, the lights above us are dimmed, it was a standard table with two black chairs on each side, two candles are flickering in the middle of the table, and what made our table special is the fact that the table is up against a huge glass window overlooking the city. Thomas just smiles a sly smile as he pulls out my chair for me. "Thank you." I say to him sitting down and letting him push me in. "Anything for you love." Thomas takes his seat just as the waitress hands us each a menu. "Can I start you two off with something to drink?" I am about to say something but Thomas cuts me off before I can, "I would like a bottle of your best chardonnay please." The waitress nods her head walking off. "Wine? You really are going all out tonight." Thomas ignores my comment and runs his hand through his hair, "Thomas I need to ask you something." Thomas turns his intense gaze on me. "You can ask me anything." I take a deep breath before speaking because I have no idea how this is going to end. "I was wondering on why you never speak of your family?" Some kind of emotion flashes in Thomas's eyes but before I can see what it is he quickly gets rid of it. "There is nothing to tell, I have a mother and father just like everyone else." I can tell that he is trying hard not to talk about this too much. The waitress comes back with the wine Thomas asked for. "Thank you." Thomas says opening the bottle and pouring some into my glass first then his own. "Do you two know what you would like?" I look at Thomas for a second, "Ladies first." I quickly scan the menu, and find something that sounds prefect. "I will have the chicken fettuccine alfredo please." The waitress writes down my order then turns towards Thomas, "And for you sir?" He swallows the wine in his mouth. "I will have the steak alfredo." The waitress writes down his order and walks away. Thomas takes another sip of his wine. "How is Melissa doing?" I look at him confused unsure on what he is talking about, "I thought you said she was having some kind of trouble with her boyfriend of the week." I suddenly remember the lie I told him so I could meet up with Chaz, "She says she needs to think about things before making any decisions." I lied to Thomas who just nods his head. While we are waiting for our food Thomas and I talk about work and what big things are going on in the city when our food arrives. The smell of the food fills my nose and it is heavenly, the waitress places my plate in front of me. "This looks delicious." I say digging into my food and Thomas wastes no time digging into his own food. Once we are done eating I wipe my mouth one more time making sure to get everything off, and I look at Thomas. "Thank you for taking me out tonight." The smile on Thomas's face shows pride and happiness. "I wish I could do this type of thing with you more often." I nod my head slowly understanding where is he coming from because deep down in my heart I wish the same thing. "I know you do, but I also understand that you are an important person with important duties to fulfill for the city." Thomas reaches across the table and takes my hand. "I was thinking that maybe we could go on one of our vacations, and we will go wherever you want." Thomas removes his hand from mine as he stands up from his chair walks behind me and pulls out my chair for me. "I will think about it." I say standing up from my seat. "We have one more stop tonight before we head back home." I look at him with an unsure look on my face. "Where would that be?" Thomas pushes my chair in, "I know a nice little place down the street that makes the best ice cream in the city." I take his into mine and the two of us head for the exit, "Thomas, don't you need to pay?" Thomas smiles down at me. "I already did, I paid when I made the reservations." Only Thomas would think of that. We walk out of the restaurant and start walking down the sidewalk, "Here Love." Thomas slips off his suit jacket and gently places it on me to keep me warm from the cool summer night air, I place my head on his arm and my attention catches another couple who are walking in the other direction I can't help but to notice the guy, and as I watch the two of them pass us I turn my head catching a hazard symbol tattoo with the letters J and T in the middle of it in the back of the guy's neck. "Jett?" I say out loud to myself.
