Chapter 23: Friend of a Friend

Sarah's POV

The first guy has pitch black hair that is spiked up, he is wearing an opened leather jacket, underneath the jacket is some kind of white shirt, a pair of black basketball shorts, and a pair of nice looking sneakers on his feet. The other guy has blonde hair but dark roots, he is wearing a dark blue muscle shirt, he also has on a pair of black basketball shorts, and just like the other he too has a pair of really nice looking sneakers on his feet. "Sarah!" I hear Chaz call my name as he waves me for me to come over to the three of them. I take a deep breath and slowly make my way over to them. "I think I am ready to go." I say right as I walk up to Chaz, "Sarah I would like you to meet my two best friends, this is Derek Cadwell." Derek is the one with the black hair. "And this is his brother Collin Cadwell." That makes Collin the one with blonde with the dark roots. "Nice to meet the two of you." I say nodding to the two of them. "I don't see any shopping bags so that either means two things, one you bought the place out and I don't have room in my car for everything, or two you were too down to even shop." I sigh shaking my head. "I have too much on my mind right now, but thank you for bringing me here." Chaz smiles at me before pulling a chair out for me, "Where are my manners, please sit down." I sit down crossing my legs and lean back in the chair. "Sarah, what is your last name?" Colin asks without any hesitation. "Good, my name is Sarah Good." Derek and Collin just look at each other nodding their heads, "What is your relationship with our boy Chaz?" I am already getting annoyed with their third degree of trying to pry into my personal life. "I meet Chaz a couple of months ago, and as for right now we are just good friends he is also helping me out with my living situation." I smile a fake smile at them hoping that they got the answers they wanted. "Your living with Chaz?" Collin asks with a huge smirk on his face, and Chaz punches him in his shoulder. "It is not like that man, get your mind out of the gutter, if that is even possible." I laugh at Chaz's comment. "Anyways, how about a new topic of conversation?" Derek speaks up this time. "Are you going to be bringing Sarah out with you tonight?" I turn my attention to Chaz my wonder getting the best of me, "What are they talking about?" Chaz starts scratching the back of his neck which I am start to notice that he only does when he is nervous, "Derek and Collin invited me to go out to the club tonight." An exciting smile comes across my lips, "Which one? I have been to every club in the city? Derek and Collin look at each other than to me with an impressed smirk on each of their faces, "We are thinking of going to Climax." I know that club very well due to the fact that it is the second most popular club in Liberty Falls, and the reason it is second is because Thomas's club is number one. "That is a very cool club." Derek looks at Chaz, "You are still coming out with us tonight?" Chaz looks from Derek then to me, "I really could use a night out Chaz." I place my hand on Chaz's knee under the table, and this gets Chaz's body to tense up, "I.... Um.... I can if you really want to....... I can't see why we can't." Chaz stutters over his words as I move my hand back and forth on his knee. "Good, I thought you would see things my way." I smile at him with a sly grin removing my hand from his knee, "So what time do you want to go out tonight?" I ask looking at guys. "We usually head out around 11." I stand up from chair after Collin gives the time that we will be meeting up again, "In that case I need to go pick up a couple of things." I place my hand on Chaz's shoulder, "It was nice to meeting you Derek, and you too Collin." The feeling of spending returning to me, and I waste no time enjoying the feeling. After about 6 hours of shopping, trying everything on, and trying things out I finally have everything I need for going out to the club tonight. I walk out of my last stop counting how much money I have left over, "I have only 985,0000 dollars left." I shrug my shoulders as I see Chaz waiting for me at the entrance of the mall, "It is about time, I have been waiting for you forever." I can't help but laughing at just how much Chaz reminds me of Cole. "I am sorry, but I needed something to wear to the club tonight." I hold up my four bags, "We should get back, we can swing by someplace to pick up dinner." Chaz opens the glass door for me as I walk out, "You really should meet Cole Anderson, you two have a lot common." I remark to Chaz as he and I start walking back to his car. "Who is that?" I am about to answer him but then something else comes to my mind. "Chaz, what did you Derek and Collin about me?" Chaz puts his hands on my bare shoulders, "Don't worry, I didn't tell them anything about your personal life, and of course that just made them think that you and I are sleeping with each other." Chaz opens the passenger side door for me, "And be just another notch on your bed post, I don't think so." I pat Chaz's cheek getting into the car closing the door. Chaz stands there for a few moments trying to wrap his head around the comment I just made, after a few seconds Chaz snaps out his daze and gets into the car starting it up, "You think that I am that type of guy?" I stop rummaging through my bags looking at him. "I just have a feeling that you might be, but who am I judge anyone." Chaz swallows a large lump in his throat before pulling out of the parking lot heading back to his apartment.
