"No, you knock, this is your dad's house not mine," After about 5 minutes of arguing about who was going to knock on the door Steve rolled his eyes and did the honors. "Damn, was it that hard?"

"Kind of," he looked down at his pants and I gave a confused look before looking down too. "Nah, actually it's really hard so-"

"I wasn't talking about your di-"

"Is that my son?" A loud and deep voice that resembled Steve's said behind the door.

Steve smiled with a shake of his head and grabbed my hand as the door flew open. We were met face to face with a replica of Steve. Damn, they looked just alike.

"Ah, of course it is," He said with a grin and pulled Steve into a bone crushing hug. "How've you been holding up, man?" He asked, his accent just like Steve's.

"Y'know working at the tattoo shop," Steve shrugged before looking at me when they pulled away. "This is my girlfriend, I've told you a bit about her-"

"A bit? He rambles on and on about you, sweetheart," he rolled his eyes with a chuckle and I smiled. "Kayla, yeah?" He asked holding his hand out and I nodded. "You can call me Stephen."

When I put my hand out to shake his he pulled me into a hug and I blushed. I did not see that coming.

"Who's at the door, sweets?" A soft but strong voice said behind him as he let me go and Steve pulled me back by my hand.

"Steve and his girlfriend, Kayla, decided they'd show up and surprise us," he said. "This is my wife-"

"I'm his wife, Tashawna," she introduced herself as he let out a breath of air. "Why didn't you invite them in yet, Steve?" She said stepping in front of him and this time I got a good view of how she looked.

She was beautiful, like someone they would have as royalty in Africa. Her skin was a little darker than mine and her dreads were in a bun, her body was toned and her lips full.

"C'mon in." She smiled as Steve's dad shook his head at the shorter woman.

All of us were taller than her, me being 5"6; Steve being 6"1 and his dad taller then him while she looked to be 5"4.

"Yes, come in and make yourself at home," Steve's dad said with a smile. "The kids are at camp, right now, but they'll be back in about 2 hours." He said as we stepped in.

I looked around the house in awe, it was huge and had to be designed by a person who knew what they were doing.

"Did you guys eat anything before you got here?" Stephen's wife asked.

"No, I-"

"Don't worry, I've got something cooking on the stove for your dad," she waved him off. "I think he's nice enough to let you have some." She raised a brow at her husband and I chuckled as he glared at Steve.

"But you're making that specially for me, baby." He pouted and Steve gagged, rolling his eyes as I giggled at their banter.

"C'mon now, Stephen, let the boy eat," she called from the kitchen. "Unless you want something else, Steve?"

Steve and his dad looked at each other before squinting their eyes.

"She's talking to you-"

"Nope, I think she's asking you that question, Steve." Steve's dad squinted at his son before smirking.

They were like the same person but one from the present and the other in the future.

"I asked a question-" His wife paused at the scene, caught in a glaring match. "Both of you stop arguing, there's enough for everyone and it's already done,"
