Opening your eyes, you hesitantly sit up.
A few leaves, having been stuck to your back, drift down as you slowly push yourself up.

"Are you sure you're going to be okay?

Madara asks, making you lightly smile at his worry.

"We'll just have to see. As of now, I'm doing a little better. Thank you."

He hums in acknowledgement, and you begin to trudge your way through the forest. The ground is still dry, but you can hear the dull rumbles of thunder in the distance. Jumping up to a high branch, you look at the sky, observing.

The dark clouds had begun to roll in, the blue sky soon f over by the grey mass. In the distance, you could see a river, and you nod to yourself.

"Just gotta follow it..." You mumble.

"And what are you following?

"That river. It leads to where Naruto and Sasuke should be."

"How do you know that they're there?"

"Just... a hunch is all."

Winding up, you leap from tree to tree, approaching and then running parallel to the fast flowing river. A few drops of rain hit your head as you jump, soon intensifying into a torrential downpour.

You huff annoyedly, dropping down a few branches to shelter yourself from at least a little bit of the rain.

"This damn rain ain't letting me be speedy."

Madara wonders about what happened to the you from just a few minutes prior. You were hurt, plain as can be, but here you are, acting as if nothing had happened.

"...Y/N?"

"What's up?"

Madara struggles for a moment on how to word his next statement, not wanting to appear too pushy.

"You... seem to have gotten over your... previous feelings rather quickly. It doesn't seem like you have, well, gotten over it, and yet you act as if nothing happened."

"Oh, yeah. I talked to Obito about it a bit. I've always had problems with this kinda stuff. Also, this isn't something I would want you sharing."

"In this state I can't really share, now can I?"

"Yeah, I guess not. Well, continuing on, it's... what I have done to cope. It's in no way good, but I haven't actually tried very much to properly, um, release my emotions."

"How do you 'release your emotions'?"

You sigh, almost choking on a few inhaled raindrops, standing on a branch overlooking the Valley of the End. You could see Naruto shouting at Sasuke, but the words were unheard through the pounding rain.

"Y'see, that's the thing. I don't. Usually, at least."

"You... don't?"

"Well, I suppose it would be more accurate to say that I do, but it, uh, takes a bit, and can get a little... violent, and/or unhealthy for me." You sit on the branch, giving up on staying dry. The two boys were at each others throats, and Sasuke punched Naruto into the water. It wasn't fun or exciting to watch, not anymore. It was quite saddening, to be honest.

You sigh, resting your cheek on your palm. Rain pours, and your downcast eyes follow the fight sullenly. The small warmth coming from your shoulder was almost unnoticeable, and the hissing was overwhelmed easily.
