After a few weeks of training, Uncle Nate started explaining to me about an angel's name being given for a reason, and more about what awesome stuff comes with being one. Like invulnerability, telekinesis, and a few others. Those are all common powers . But some angels have abilities specific to only them. Like Lucas means "giver of light". And with that denomination, he had the ability to control and create light as bright and blistering as the sun. And when he was stripped of his name, he was also stripped of the power that came with it.
Another one of my dysfunctional family members with special abilities is my uncle Nate. His name is Nathaniel, the manifestation of fire. Back in the day, he was called the "Flaming Sword". Apparently my uncle was a boss! And according to him, my mother, Sara, had a boss name too. Titania. Warrior queen...
