When Nathaniel and Sara first met, they were both in training with the army's best warriors. Even at a young age, archangels and valkyries were so powerful, that in training they were secluded from the rest of the soldiers in case of emergency. Emergency meaning, an erratic young angel going mad and killing every angel with a power level less than 1000.
