I told Jasmine, which was little Paola's real name to hold hands with Julio as we were about to cross the road after having parked the car. Jasmine was holding my right hand and the third triplet, Theo was in my left side. How I knew which one was Julio or Theo? Today Paolo dressed them with personalised shirts with each one's names in them.
Really helpful.
After what happened yesterday with Jaxon I couldn't stand being at home and Paolo let me skip classes today. Apparently he had been listening to our whole conversation. The kitchen was first door to the right and one of the windows gave a clear vision of the porch. So even though the curtain was down the windows were opened. Purposely.
So yeah, that's how I ended up hanging out with three six years old triplets. This is called having an intense social life.
I didn't dare to call Ashton, maybe he was so pissed off he didn't want to see me again. I wouldn't call Lynn even if I wanted to, I just couldn't face Jaxon's sister and I was giving Lexi some space. I could call any other friend but as far as they knew I was still on holidays instead of running away from my parents.
"Alessia" said Julio's sweet voice to my right. No, I didn't tell them my name. Theo just found it funny taking my purse and blackmailing me to take them shopping. I would budge anyways. I'm that softy with children. Actually it was funny until the contents fell into the pool which is how the saw my ID after rescuing it.
Correction, after I had to change and rescue it.
"What is it Julio?" I just loved using their names as normally I wouldn't be able to.
"How many toys are we allowed to buy?" He said as we spotted the town's biggest toy shop. The only one also, I searched it on Google.
"As many as you want. The sky is the limit." I smiled to their grins and entered the place. It was bigger than I expected and in the blink of an eye the three of them were running down the hallway.
I just stood there watching how toys have evolved since I was a child. And hearing occasional "I want this!", "No, I saw it earlier!", "No way, I was the first one touching it!", "You cheated!", "That's not true!".
I was the type of children who entered the first one and they didn't allow anyone in until I was done, though that was more for safety measures. I usually bought cars and motorbikes whilst Chris bought all types of laboratory equipment.
Jazzy bought a scalextric and a dog that grew up every time you fed him with fake food. Theo bought a Nerf gun and an incredibly cool car and Julio bought another Nerf gun and a super cute doll.
We left the bags in the car and after that I was convinced to have an ice cream. Me and Jazzy sat in a booth and in front of us Theo and Julio were building castles with all the plastic spoons they took.
"Do you have little sisters?" Asked Jazzy while she tasted her favourite flavour, strawberry.
"Well, I have a little brother. His name's Timo." I smiled at the thought of him.
"Why is his name so weird?" She attempted to scrunch her nose but not really knowing how to, she ended up scrunching her whole face.
I let out a laugh and put a strand behind her ear "It's actually Timothy Gianni." I said and laughed even more when her eyes widened.
My family had always had a thing for seemly 'special' names. They saw it as embracing our Italian heritage. I have nothing against it but I can't help thinking it's kind of pointless. I mean, it's not like my great grandparents are going to come from wherever they are to thank my parents for taking them into account and then give us a kiss in the forehead before leaving again. Christian apart from being the favourite child, he was the only one who got away without an Italian name. I got not one, but two though.
