"Tell me one more time." He demanded.
I sighed combing my golden hair with my fingers. "Okay, I get it. I really do. I should have mentioned it previously but you don't have to be such an ass about it."
Jaxon glared at my comeback and shaking his head, he pulled the tickets from his back pocket and placed them on the glove compartment before hopping in in the driver seat.
After the little reunion Lynn, Jaxon and I made our way to my home, where we decided, scratch that, where everyone decided except me, that I would be staying with the siblings until they thought I was in no kind of danger.
"I am being an ass? Excuse me if my plans for Sunday have just been thrown out of the window because of some stupid football match." He diverted his eyes from the road for a split of a second to make a point.
"Who said I was going to go with you?" I retorted.
"Well, would you prefer to go with Oliver?" His voice suddenly took a much lower tone I was definitely not expecting.
I gaped and stared at him intently. "Well, honestly I much rather go with someone who actually speaks to me than someone who has been ignoring me the whole day!"
Now I sounded desperate, but I was willing to be friends with him and with him it was near to impossible. We took a step forward and two back. I was at least trying to be nice to him, which he obviously wasn't and now he was somehow putting the blame on me. As if I had anything to do with these people. I didn't even belong to that world! First the incident in the fight, then the warehouse and then this! So it is safe to say I was starting to lose my mind.
"You're not going with him." And I saw his knuckles turn white around the steering wheel.
"You won't tell me with whom I'm allowed to go or not." I mumbled.
After five minutes of Jaxon driving and me ignoring his stares while I faked looking out of the window he asked again who I was going with. Well, I guess I was looking out of the window, I was just not paying attention. I had more things to worry about than the streets of a town.
"I'm taking your sister, thank you."
We heard clapping from the seat behind us. "Well, would you look at that! After all I'm not forgotten!" She said faking relief.
Jaxon rolled his eyes. "You're not the center of the world Lynn."
"Says who!"
And that's how for the remaining ten minutes until my house went like. It was like going with Paolo's kids. But I wasn't the most mature either so I simply shut up and listened the siblings bicker.
Once in the house Lynn chose the room with views to the backyard and as I had the one to the frontyard, Jaxon took the guest room next to mine as the other guest rooms downstairs where reserved for Paolo and his kids and the maid I was planning on hiring before any of this happened. Granted, they didn't sleep in here, but as they were frequent I talked to Paolo and his wife and we thought it would be a great idea to just have their needed equipment and clothes in the house instead of having to take them here every day. And it wasn't like I cared really. Being in a house by myself without my family or Lexi did get lonely.
We all made our way to our bedrooms and I snorted gaining yet another glare from Jaxon when I saw him avoid Dalton who suddenly seemed to love the guy and was trying to catch his attention by getting in his way.
Someone knocked on my door while I was just laying on my soft bed staring at the chandelier above me and trying to count the number of cristals in it. Sighing, I got up and opened the door to find Lynn flapping M&M's.
