We jumped away from each other faster than lighting, which resulted in me banging my head against the door. Not that I cared. In that moment all my blood was focused on running to my cheeks.

"THIS IS... SO FUCKING DISGUSTING!" Meanwhile Lynn was rubbing her eyes, so much, I feared she would accidentally pop them out. "I SWEAR THAT I HAVE SHIPPED BOTH OF YOU SINCE I KNEW YOU KNEW EACH OTHER, BUT MY POOR EYES DIDN'T HAVE TO WITNESS MY BROTHER DRY HUMPING MY NEW FRIEND!"

Jaxon opened his mouth to object but decided against it after giving it a second thought.

Honestly, what was I thinking about? Was I even thinking to start with? I didn't know this guy. I didn't know these people at all and the last time I let myself be driven by my feelings it ended up in the worst experience of my life. And yet, I couldn't erase the memory of his muscles pinning me to the door, or the tingles his breath elicited. He had opened up to me for a second and I was already rushing into wherever this would take me.

I had to make up my mind. I had to be sure of this. He would never make me go through what I went, I was certain about that though. But up until then he had kept doing what he does best, which is open up and then push me away. I had to know if I was willing to put all of me in this.

Did what just happened even mean anything to him? He did say he wanted to get to know me, but I definitely didn't have this in mind.

"It was his fault!" It's all I could mutter as I opened the front door and almost ran toward the car.

"How is this my fault?" I heard a slightly flushed Jaxon shout from his previous potition.

I pretended not to hear him and after a sigh from him and a gagging sound from Lynn they both climbed into the back of the car. I placed my bag with the suspicious letters inside in the seat next to me and started the car. I looked behind waiting for directions, only to find a frowning Jaxon and a disturbed Lynn.

"Seriously, how is this my fault?" He asked again cocking his head in confusion.

I smirked and punched the button for the gates to open. "Well, if you had been able to handle the conversation about Lynn's sexual life, none of this would have happened."

Lynn tensed up and she inmediately snapped her head towards her brother who suddenly seemed extremely interested in the landscape. Not that this town offered any grateness.

"Excuse me! You two where talking about my sex life?!" Her eyes widened in incredulity and I mentally slapped myself.

I noticed a pair of silver eyes piercing my head and I forced myself to continue to drive remembering their directions.

See, the original plan consisted of me, Lynn and Spencer, since at the end of the day it really was his nephew's match, going in there. We strictly agreed on nobody else joining, but rather waiting and watching the perimeter. But as I was going to go, Oliver said he would go aswell. And like the child he is, then Jaxon had to come aswell. Long story short, we'll be the scary bunch of people who get the mistrustful glances among the cheering football-parents.

I remember the last time my father congratulate me. I was fourteen and I had managed to catch a fish in his boat expedition. It was in that moment that I realized that as much as I loved eating all kinds of fish, actually watching them die wasn't for me. You should have seen his disappointed expression when I emptied the contents of my stomach in his brand new fishing boat. Needless to say he didn't invite me to another of his fishing expeditions, he settled for letting me relax and sunbathe in the yacht he bought the next month.

After getting lost and having to stop their argument to actually get the correct directions, we arrived within fifteen minutes. The rest were already waiting for us and they seemed anything but pleased.
