Mackenzie's POV
I clicked off the messaging app and hurried to my door. Maddie was jumping around the house excitedly and I was curious as to why. Walking into the kitchen I was met with Maddie hugging my mum and Stepdad Greg.
"What's happening?" I asked. Maddie turned around and hugged me tightly. "Maddie got the part!" Mum smiled happily clapping her hands. "Omg Really?!" I exclaimed hugging Maddie. "REALLY!" She shouted.
Maddie had auditioned for a Tv show. It had been a few weeks and we suspected that she hadn't got it but oh my god I'm so excited for her. She definitely deserves it.
"But Mackenzie," Greg sighed. "Huh?" I asked my smile coming off my face. "We have to Move to La!" Greg told me. My eyes widened. "I-I for how long?" I asked. "Maybe a year," Mum told me. "AHHHH OMG!" I screamed happily. "Your not mad?" Maddie asked confused. "No I've always wanted to move there and maybe idk pursue singing career," I told them sheepishly. "That's an amazing idea Kenzie both my babies will be famous!" Mum joked hugging us.
"When are we leaving?" Maddie asked excitedly. "2 weeks, we're renting the house here though, in case we decide to move back," Greg explained. I was really happy until I realized that I had to tell my friends. How on earth am I meant to tell them?
