61.Unexpected proposal

"Why we are here?" I asked Navya.

"How many times you will ask the same question? I think this is your 108th time, keep your mouth shut" Navya and her exaggeration.

"If you have answered the first time, I would have done what you want but No, you decided to keep your mouth shut so I am using the purpose of it" Though I am not facing her I know Navya have rolled her eyes in irritation and ignored me.

"For the last chance answer me, why I am standing here wearing saree here"

"I have already answered, it is your dare, remember that we played on Soha's birthday"

Did Navya find me grown two horns?

I know I hate wearing saree. I cannot manage saree, wearing saree and walking is the most difficult job for me. Thought I find it difficult to manage saree, I cannot believe Fab5 gave just simple dare like wearing saree; definitely, they are planning something big.

Suddenly we both enter into area, which is pitch dark, I cannot even see Navya who is standing beside me.

After sometimes, I realized I was the only one who is standing and Navya was nowhere near me. Suddenly spot light is on and focused on man who is standing far away from me with decoration in his background. As he was so far, I cannot clearly see him but my heart skipped a beat guessing who it can be.

No, he can't do this now.

No, it is not possible.

What I am thinking now can't happen now.

I was blabbering something and I can see the person clearly now and breathe out which unknowingly I forgot to do.

The person bend on his knees and suddenly raised his hand having red rose.

"Can you be my girlfriend?"

Suddenly the confusion clouded on my mind, what the hell he is doing, has he gone mad or what? And he said nothing and straight away asked that I could be his girlfriend.

So plain proposal? Not that I want some romantic proposal.

"Nandhini, say something"

I get the rose from his hand as I don't want be rude to him before I form correct sentence...

"What is happening here, you moron"

As the spot light focused on us and the entire area surround is dark, we cannot see the person who shouted but can recognize the voice.

Alya came in front and slapped Dhruv.

I expected some outburst definitely not this slap and she gave me look which I felt guilty even though there is no mistake from side

"Alya, it is not what you think, Alya listen" Dhruv went behind Alya and all the light are on and I can see this is a studio. Cabir, Mukti and Navya are standing in a corner laughing by holding their stomach but the person who I want to see is not there.

From starting, I felt something fishy and now I get these are all dare of Fab5.

What kind of stupid dare is this?

From Alya's reaction, I can say Alya is not part of this plan.

"Where is the Khadoos?" Mukti asked and

"He just walked away when Nandhini accepted the rose from Dhruv" Cabir mentioned.

So Manik was standing here and witnessed everything?

Did he believed what he saw?

NO, Manik that I know won't doubt me, definitely not.

I saw Cabir is moving to a remote room where light is on.

I followed Cabir and heard his voice but his voice is filled with different emotion that I cannot understand.

"Cabir, I want to practice the song which we left in middle yesterday, the notes are difficult and I want to concentrate..." Manik almost pleaded.

"I am sure you cannot concentrate now, let's speak now"

"What is there to speak, I am not interested anything"

What he is not interested?

"Manik, it is not crime to express what you feel, till how long you are going to hide behind those walls you have created?"

"I said already, I am not interested, cannot you understand simple language?"

"oh, so you are not affected that Dhruv proposed Nandhini and ..."

"And she is happy with Dhruv?" Manik completed Cabir but who gave his right to decide for me.

"You totally misunderstood everything, let me explain" Cabir tried his best to make Manik listen but that stubborn head did not listen.

"What is there to explain? Dhruv like her, and if she is happy with Dhruv then what is there to explain, I am no one to decide for their life, yes I know I should interfere when you guys go wrong but what Dhruv did was good for him, in fact he chose the best for him"

That's the limit, I can not stand here patiently watch him speak some rubbish.

"Then who is there to interfere when you go wrong?" I went in front of them and Cabir without making any noise moved out.

"What did I did that someone need to interfere" He snapped at me.

"yeah... I forgot you are Mahan who won't do any mistake"

"Manik Malhotra never do mistakes miss. Murthy"

"Then you are living in your dream not in reality Mr. Malhotra" I responded in the same tone. I saw a tinge of hurt in his eyes when I address him as Mr. Malhotra but as usual he hided his emotion perfectly.

"I think you are not here to waste your time to discuss about where I am living. If you have nothing left to say, you can leave" He turned his back.

I know Dhruv proposing to Nandhini is same scene that in KKY but I didn't mean to copy but this is need for the progress of the story, hope you guys understand.
