To say that this week was stressful was the complete understatement of the year. An algebra test, that you didn't have time to study for, on Monday. That same day doing patrols at night with Peter. Tuesday was after school with the academic decathlon then going to the self-made gym at an abandoned warehouse. Wednesday you picked up double duty with the night patrols to give Peter some time for his own homework. Thursday brought you a Chemistry test, and a new project in English. Everyday more and more work had piled onto your already hectic schedule. Today, Friday, had a presentation for your business class and a History test.

Your brain was completely fried, there was multiple bags under your eyes, and so much yawning from the tiring events this week had brought. You laid your tired head back against the metal railing outside of your apartment building in your own spider suit from Mr. Stark.

Your eyes drifted off to sleep a few times but not before the loud sound of Peter landing in front of you startled you awake. You held your hand over your heart and felt your heart rate go up.

"Hey Y/N." He breathed out, raising his mask. "Jesus Pete, you damn near gave me a heart attack." You said trying to ease your heart rate. "I'm sorry love." He apologized and kissed your cheek by raising your mask. "You sure you're up for it tonight? You've had a busy week, you need to rest." He asked with concern. "Don't worry about me. I can handle it just like how I've been handling it all week." "This is third time I had to wake you up." He said.

"Look I'll be fine," you had gotten up from your spot to face him, "I'll get through tonight and then we can both sleep in tomorrow." You finished off by wrapping your arms around his neck. He couldn't help but smile at your words.

Just before Peter was going to argue back, the radio you had connected to the police channel went off. It was a simple small robbery happening at a corner store a few blocks down.

"I'll take this one. You stay here and wait till I get back and we can finish up the night shifts." Peter said. Before he could pull down his mask you quickly kissed his lips. "Go get'em tiger." You whispered after pulling away. You pulled down the rest of his mask to hide his identity before he went swinging off.

He then swung off to stop the robbery, leaving you back to where you were before. Tired and restless.

You sat back down in the floor of the metal railing and waited for another call to come in. Your eyes tried to fight against the heavy weight of sleep but ultimately lost the fight. You curled up against the metal flooring and fell asleep.

When Peter came back from saving the little corner store from being robbed, he saw you all bundled up in a ball against the brick wall.

"Aw baby." He cooed when he saw you in your tired state. He knew how much you needed your sleep (not to mention how cranky you get), so he decided to web up a hammock for you.

When he completed his task he gently picked you up bridal style. You stirred a little and groaned at the sudden movement. "It's ok, Y/N." He hushed. Peter carefully placed your body in the hammock, cautiously enough not to wake you. He kissed your temple through the mask covering your face. "Sleep tight, my love."
