Chapter 13: Sit The Fudge Down

This is my favorite chapter in the first one just saying!! Also my fav +44 song Incase I didn't mention that in Age if Ambrose. Love yalllll and uh...this is gonna be in Dean's POV. Cool beans enjoy!!

The alarm didn't wake me up but Carter sure as hell did with her beating me with a pillow over and over again. "Daddy I'm late for school and so is Mavis!!!"

I shot out of bed and picked her up, running with her down the hall as fast I could. I stopped pick the baby up and then ran downstairs. I gave her Maverick to put in the car with her backpack while I grabbed their lunch from the fridge. "Dad I don't need the lunch. I'm going to Panera with Steven." Mavis said before walking to the garage.

I put hers back and then grabbed Carter's off the counter before running out to the car. I started up the "mom car" as Atty called it.

I sped to the elementary school and stopped at the curb to let Carter out. "Daddy you have to come in and sign me in for being late. You also need an excuse."

"Ah shit." I said pulling the car into the parking
lot. I hurried inside with her to the main office. I signed her in with messy hand writing so I could hurry and get Mavis to school. "What is the excuse for her being late, Mr. Ambrose?" She asked with a smirk.

"Uh...uh...uh."

"I'm just kidding. I'll write her down for a doctors appointment. Atticus warned me about you having days like these. It's okay. Have a good day."

I walked out actually no, I ran out to the car and sped to the high school but got stuck in traffic. "Why didn't you get a ride with Steven? I should just drop you off at Panera at his point it's eleven."

"You can just drop me at Panera. I don't need you to sign me in so."

"You're sure because I cannot get in trouble for fuck something up or mom is coming home. Thats the last thing I need right now."

"I promise."

I turned into Panera and saw Steven there already. I let Mavis out and then drove back home with Maverick. "God buddy this going to be hell." I said mad he just giggled.

I walked inside with the camera crew following me and I shook my head. "This is the shit she dealt with isn't it? I have a question. I'm awful at this aren't I?" I asked and they all nodded. "Great."

"At least you weren't late to picking us up." Mavis teases causing me to roll my eyes.

"Shut up and get in the drivers seat."

"What? Dad, I don't have my permit though."

"I'm taking you to get it today, then you're taking drivers ed and getting your license in a few weeks after that. You are going to start taking your sister to and from school."

"Oh thank god!"

Mavis got in the drivers seat and it was the biggest mistake of my life. Mavis, is an awful driver. She passed her permit test and got her permit though.

"I'm driving home so sit the fudge down." Mavis said pushing him into the passengers seat.

"Mavis you're awful. Daddy drive home!" Carter yelled.

"Shut up dipthong."

"Daddy Mavis called me a dipthong."

They started arguing and Maverick started crying because the girls were yelling and woke him up. "EVERYBODY SHUT UP!" I yelled. Even the baby stopped. "Mavis drive home but if you miss one more red light or take a sharp turn your ass is in the back Carter is up front. Take driving seriously you have a baby in the car. Also Carter, cut the shit. Leave her alone she's gotta learn. And Maverick, you're a baby. I got nothing."

Maverick giggled which was the only sound made the entire way back to the house.

Chinese was dinner tonight because I got too lazy to cook and I'm not giving the kids the access or permission to burn my house down. This costs way too much money.

We sat on the couch and waited for Raw to come on. When it finally did, Atticus sent me a text that she was opening the show.

And she did.

"It's mommy!!" Carter cheered causing me to smile.

I watched as my amazingly gorgeous wife stepped into the ring wearing her attire which, not gonna lie, made me wish I was there. Just to find a closet like the good old days. Anyway.

"Hey guys! I'm back and I'm back for a long time now. Or until Dean or the kids burns the house down. As you guys know I've been on maternity leave and now Dean is taking his own because he has an injury baby. He's home with the kids while me? Well, I'm the one who's making history. Did you guys see the Royal Rumble last night?" Everyone cheered through the tv causing me to smile at the pop shot received. She truly was a fan favorite. "I'll take that as a yes. I won the first ever Woman's Royal Rumble match and I get to choose who I want to fight. And it's a big decision but, I think I have my mind made up. At Wrestlemania I want to face Alexa Bliss for the Monday Night Raw Woman's Championship as I will collect my title back and reign again on Raw!" She said before dropping the mic and exiting the ring.

I smiled and then sent the kids up to bed while I took Maverick in with me. My ass is not getting up to walk down that hall. I'll fall flat on my face and have the house awake. I'm not doing that shit again.

Atticus FaceTimed the iPad and I sat Maverick on my lap as I held it showing both of us as we saw her. "Hey mama." I said causing her to smile.

"Hi Deano. Hey Maverick!! How's everything at the house?"

"It's good."

"Don't lie to me. Mavis texted me earlier."

"It was off to a rough start but we got it babe I promise."

"I know. It's just gonna take a few days. She said she got her permit though?"

"I took her today. She needs her license Atty."

"I know I know. It's fine I don't mind. Well I gotta continue the show but I'll text you alright?"

"I'm actually gonna go to sleep with Maverick."

"Oh well alright. Goodnight Dean I love you. I love you too Maverick." Atticus blew kisses and I helped Maverick blow them back.

I set the iPad on the night stand and laid Maverick in the crib on her side of the bed. I laid down and stared at the ceiling. Thinking about Atty and all the success she's gonna gain from this.

Is it bad I'm slightly jealous of my wife?
