I walked into the school holding Mavis's hand as she held Steven's who was holding his mothers hand. Dean and his father walking in front of us as the kids stared at us all. Eyes full of confusion and full of fear seeing us parents.

We walked into the principles office one by one until all of us were in there and Steven and Mavis were sitting in the chairs. "Did you know these kids get treated like garbage everyday by their peers?" I asked.

"No I did-"

"Bullshit. Mavis and Steven have both told us that they've come to you and you haven't done anything. Don't tell us lies because either way, these kids are not coming back to this school." I said.

"We just wanted to make sure that you knew your school and the students in it are disgusting." Steven's mother spoke.

"My daughter has been shamed and betrayed by her best friend and her peers. Her best friend exposing her darkest secrets and torturing her with them. My daughter has been slammed for sexuality and for things she had no control over happening to her. It's bullshit and I'm not having it anymore. She thought about killing herself because of these goddamn kids and you guys let it happen." Dean said saying a little too much and than needed to be said.

"My poor son getting shit for being a good guy. A good boyfriend. A great human being! Staying with the one he loves no matter what. Getting beat up every day. The poor girl got her ankle broken by the kids throwing shit." His father spoke.

"I'm done with my kid being this way and not only are the kids coming out of this school but we all, are suing for the awful treatment. My other children will not be attending here they will be homeschooled or I'll drive their asses an hour to two hours as long as they don't have to go through this shit. We didn't have a problem in the other high school. This is awful and it's an awful environment." I finished.

"See ya in court Jackass." Dean said as we walked out.

The children glared at the kids and I stopped in the middle of the hallway. "Don't worry douche pricks, they won't be in school anymore. You guys don't have to keep attacking and breaking someone down every goddamn day now. You're all worth pieces of shits and shouldn't be treating people like this. I hope you all think about your actions after today and think about how you treat people from now on. Especially you KJ. You are the one I hate most and I used to treat you as another kid of mine. I'm majorly disappointed in you and don't want to see or hear from you again." I said joking the kids.

Steven and Mavis looked at each other before nodding. Dean and I along with his parents stopped at the door to see what they were doing. "Fuck you all! We're going places and you're all gonna be lazy ass bums asking me for money. Fuck off!" They yelled holding their middle fingers high causing us to cheer as they walked out.

We took them out to lunch at Red Robin. Us parents sat together while Mavis and Steven sat together. "I'm so proud of them honestly. For finally speaking to us. It must've been hard for them." His mother, Diane spoke.

Diane and William were an older couple. In their forty's and I haven't even hit my thirty's yet. "It was hard for Mavis. Hard for us to hear because we had no idea." I said.

"When Steven told us all the was revealed we couldn't help but feel awful for that poor girl but beyond proud that she stayed together and didn't retaliate. Awful because she took it but proud because she stayed strong as long as she could." William spoke.

"I'm proud of her. I mean, coming out about her sexuality was something that isn't easy for someone. Especially for someone who didn't want it shared and then was outed by her best friend." I said dipping my fry in the milkshake Dean and I shared.

"Get your fry out of the milkshake woman! It's gross." He said slapping the fry out of my hand and on the floor.

"Hey woman, I do what I want. Now shut up and pass me the fries."

He caved and kissed my cheek after I dipped another fry. "I love Steven though. I'm beyond proud Mavy found someone who will stick by her and take a beating like that for her. Though we hate the way he was treated, I really appreciate him. She told us," I started to cry remembering the conversation we had. "She told us the only reason she didn't attempt is because of us and Steven." My voice inching octaves higher with each word and each tear.

I wiped my eyes with Dean's help. Diane rubbed my shoulder and then I took a white napkin turned dark from my makeup.

"We'll forever be here and so will Steven. Oh man, he only I'm gonna be sad for them to not have is a prom." Diane said.

"Oh trust me, they'll have a prom. Dean and I have it all figured out. Does Steven watch the WWE other than when Mavis forced him to watch it at the house?"

"Yes he does. His favorite is actually Dean."

"Ha told you!" Dean said pointing his burger at me before I flicked lettuce at him.

"Well don't tell the kids but we're thinking of doing a WWE prom for them. Steven can invite his closest friends and I'm gonna have Mavis invite hers."

"Sounds good to me. Are parents invited?" William asked.

"Of course. And then the after-prom will be taking place at our house. Steven is welcome to stay the night and so are you guys."

"Well that sounds great. Atticus, text me about all these details and I'll make sure I get Steven a tux just in time for it."

"It'll be around WrestleMania week. I'll let ya know the day."

"Sounds good."

"Hey Atty?"

"Yes Deano?"

"Who's gonna homeschool the kids?"

"Oh don't worry about that. Diane and I already found someone."
