The Second Verse

As award winners were being called out I couldn't help but smile, someday I will be holding one of those motherfuckers in my hands. I took a quick glance at Taylor who was sitting in front of me feeling quite nervous. How could Taylor be nervous when in no doubt she'll be winning a grammy anyways? 

There was a momentary break after the second performance which led to roaming fans asking for pictures from us. People come and go some snobbing me while some fangirling over me which in my case is the biggest achievement. As soon as the lights grew dim the fans left leaving us artists alone. 

"That was crazy" Taylor says as she turned from her seat towards me. I nod in agreement while shushing her. "Why?" Taylor whispers. 

"Shush" I say, "listen" 

We both listen and then we heard it. We heard a bunch of people gossiping about other celebrities like Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, majority of them telling pure shit lies about them. I don't know Justin personally but one thing I know is that he's not all about the drugs and beer. Taylor looks at me wide eyed and sees how angered I was. 

I looked down when all of a sudden a new topic was aroused and it was this time about Taylor and Harry. My eyes widened, looking up at Taylor she had a smile on her face while shaking her head. "Bloody hell" I murmur slowly clenching my fists. Those two were probably the best of friends I have in showbiz. 

Taylor suddenly lets out a laugh causing me to look at her confused, "You remind me of a Rupert Grint when you say bloody hell" 

A chuckle escaped from my lips, "I am his twin afterall" We were silent for a moment until Taylor decided to speak once again. 

"Calm down" Taylor tells me and putting a hand on my shoulder, "You'll have to get used to it and as long as you know what's real and what's not you'll be okay". And amusingly at that moment I believed her. 

Suddenly all the lights turned off and the stage was lit up once more, Taylor looked at me once more; her eyes holding something that only both of us knows. 

Grabbing my phone and ignoring the cheers of the crowd I typed down the words: 

We are surrounded by all of these lies
And people who talk too much
You got the kind of look in your eyes
As if no one knows anything but us

Taylor was called onto the stage and knowingly recieved her award with a bright smile on her face slowly making her blue eyes look like diamonds. Taylor was surely something else and as of this moment I forgot all the stupid lies that people were talking about.
