Everything was happening so fast.

Ruhya was standing outside a room with a brown-haired lady holding on tightly to her. In a span of 10 minutes she had been taken from the carriage, had her clothes changed, and someone had fixed up her hair to look nice. Ruhya swallowed a lump in her throat, the situation seemed very familiar.

"Ruhya! Customers are coming! Get ready, why are you still wearing that raggedy dress?"

"Yes, Mother."

"Don't call me that in front of the customers, call me Big Sister. Now hurry up and change."

"I'm sorry Mo- Big Sister."

Ruhya was pulled out of her memories by the creak of the door opening. She was pushed in and the door closed with a slam. Ruhya stumbled and nearly tripped over her chains but she quickly steadied herself.

"That was close." Ruhya breathed out. Laughter bubbled in her throat, but she quickly stifled it as she remembered her situation. Ruhya crossed her arms over her exposed midriff, the clothes she had been given were very revealing. The Fear crept up her spine as it sunk in that she was in a strange place, wearing strange clothes, and now the property of a strange person.

The lump in her throat returned. Ruhya tried to calm herself, but The Fear had already wrapped itself around her. She felt every moment The Fear squeezed her harder. A small whimper escaped Ruhya's lips, she was shaking. Her knees buckled and it took everything for Ruhya to keep standing.

The Fear from her childhood was back, and there was no one to save her this time.

Judar watched from his bed as the Moon Dancer was pushed into his room. Judar took in her looks as she stood in a ray of sunlight coming in from his open window. The first time he had seen her she was clouded by darkness, but now he could see her clearly.

She looked nothing like he had expected.

The Moon Dancer he had seen was confident, mysterious, graceful. The girl in front of him was nothing like the Moon Dancer at all. He frowned at her mousy brown hair and awkward stance. The only things the girl and the Moon Dancer had in common were the same curvy body and blindfolded eyes.

Judar exhaled loudly and the girl quickly snapped to attention. She stood rigidly with her arms crossed over her stomach. Lazily Judar got up from his bed and circled around the girl. He grabbed a lock of her hair and slightly pulled it. The girl winced but said nothing.

"Are you even the Moon Dancer? It wouldn't surprise me if those idiots grabbed the wrong girl. You're so plain looking it almost hurts. Though, your body is pretty nice." Judar drawled out as he grabbed the girl from behind. She stiffened as he wrapped an arm around her midriff and pulled her up against him.

"I doubt Porky would have the ball to lie to me, but I guess the only way to make certain is to see your eyes." Judar said as the girl stayed silent, leaving his question unanswered.

Judar tugged at the knot which secured the blindfold over her eyes. Quickly the girl threw her hands up and stopped the blindfold from falling away.

"Please don't. It hurts." She whispered faintly.

"Ehh? What was that?" Judar teased as let go and faced the girl. A smirk grew on his face at the sound of her scared voice. He could practically smell the fear coming off of her.

"The light, it hurts my eyes."

There were a few seconds of silence before Judar burst out laughing. His whole body shook as he continued to laugh.

"You've got to be kidding me! An Orange Magician who is super sensitive to light! That's the funniest thing I've ever heard! You really are pathetic, aren't you!?" Judar choked out as he continued to laugh. He took a deep breath and turned serious. Quickly he slammed the windows shut and pulled down the thick curtains. Darkness engulfed the room.

"Now, take it off." Judar growled, all amusement gone from his voice.

Slowly the blindfold fell from her face as she pulled her hands away. A vibrant orange light filled the room as she opened her eyes. Orange and red swirled around in her irises. The hypnotic whirlpool pulled Judar in. He found himself unable to form any coherent thoughts as he was stared into her eyes.

"You really are the Moon Dancer." Judar whispered after she closed her eyes, snapping him out of his trance.

"I have a name you know. It's Ruhya." She snapped, a glimmer of fire in her voice.

"Ruwa?"

"No, Ruhya. It's pronounced Roo-ya. Don't forget it."

"Whatever, I don't really care what your name is. I'll call you whatever I want because now you belong to me." Judar said as a smirk grew on his face, "And right now I feel like calling you Moondancer."

Any fire that Moondancer had in her was gone at Judar's words. Her shoulders slumped and her lip quivered. Judar frowned, he didn't want his new toy to break...

Not before the real fun begins.

Judar leaned down on his bed, his ruby eyes gleaming. He plucked a peach off a nearby fruit platter and took a bite. A small dribble of peach juice flowed to his chin and he wiped it off.

"Now, entertain me."

"Where is she?" A voice hard as steel asked.

"Please, calm down-"

"DO NOT tell me to calm down! Do you have any idea what you've done?!"

"I-I had no choice..."

A harsh laugh broke out followed by a deep breath.

"You had a choice, but you chose wrong."

The picture above is a small collage of Peli. He is an interesting character that is slowly growing on me. He was actually just meant to be a filler character, but now I see him becoming a bigger part of the story.

This was a bit of a shorter chapter, but the next one will be longer. To clear up any confusion there might be, Ruhya and Moondancer are the same character. At this point in the story, Judar doesn't see Ruhya as a person, he sees her as a possession. That's why he doesn't acknowledge her name. Whenever the narrative focuses on Judar, Ruhya will be referred to as Moondancer.

Also a quick side note, this story will be entirely in third person, but the narrative will focus mainly on Judar and Ruhya. There will also be times when it focuses on other characters, but it'll mainly be those two.
