Judar flexed his fingers and arm, testing the mobility of his limbs. With a small grunt, he swung his legs off the bed and stood to stretch.
"High Oracle, please, you mustn't get up yet!" Exclaimed a Kou magician as she tried to set Judar back on the bed.
"Let go of me! I'm not some fucking weakling!" Judar snapped as he yanked his arm away, "I'm all healed now, so leave me alone."
The magician quickly bowed and returned to her post in the corner of the room. Judar scowled at her before ripping off the healing talismans that littered his body.
"Can someone bring me my fucking clothes? I hate this goddamn robe!" Judar raged as he clawed at the unfamiliar robe that covered his skin. The magician bowed again as she turned and searched for Judar's clothes in the drawers. After a few seconds, she took out Judar's regular outfit and brought it to him.
"I'll be right outside the door." The magician said before exiting the room and closing the door behind her.
Judar untied the robe and let it fall to the ground, the cool air leaving small goosebumps on his skin. Even though his body was physically healed, he still felt like crap. With a groan, he got dressed and went over to the small vanity.
Judar looked at himself in the mirror, his ruby eyes looked empty and dead. He sighed and rubbed his pale face.
"What am I even doing here?" Judar asked himself as roughly ran his hands through his shaggy bangs. Judar angrily shoved all the brushes and cosmetics sitting on the vanity, shouting with frustration. The various glass bottles shattered as they hit the ground, creating a large mess at Judar's feet.
"Wow, what a temper."
"Who the hell said that you could come back in?" Judar shouted over his shoulder. He turned around, ready to yell at the magician. His eyes went wide, rather than the Kou magician there was a female with a large white scarf covering everything from her shoulders up. He could only see her piercing green eyes.
"When I heard you were a powerful guy, I was expecting something more than a whiner who throws tantrums."
"Who the hell are you?" Judar growled.
"You can call me the Snake Charmer, I'm a dealer in information."
"What are you doing here?"
"I have some information for you." The Snake Charmer explained.
"Get out, I have no interest in what you have to offer." Judar scoffed as he turned away.
"It's about Ruhya."
Judar froze, his eyes widened and he inhaled sharply. He clenched his fists tightly as they began to shake slightly.
"What about her?" Judar finally asked, his voice heavy with thinly veiled emotion.
"My information doesn't come free. I need something from you."
"Forget about it, I don't have time for your bullshit." Judar exhaled with a frown.
"Wait! Please, we- I need your help!" The Snake Charmer exclaimed as she jumped forward and grabbed Judar by the arm. He growled and yanked his arm away.
"I'm warning you, if you don't get lost then you're gonna regret it." Judar snarled.
"Fine, I'll give you a special deal. I'll tell you the information, and if it's good enough then you'll help." The Snake Charmer said as she backed up and regained her composure.
