"Quick, we need too go, now, get any important things but things we can buy again, leave!" I rush into the apartment to find Mina sat covered in blood,
"I don't want too leave, can't you cover it up like you did before?" She was like a child, an infant who couldn't look after herself, but hopefully soon she would learn, she had too.
"It doesn't work that way, last time you slaughtered a homeless guy with nobody around, this time you tried too kill an entire family! You need too learn to control your thirst, it's getting out of hand, it's been almost 5 years, you can't kill whoever you want whenever you want Mina! It's not just your life now, it's mine aswell, Cooper has more control than you, and he's a fucking dog!" She started to move slowly, "and for fuck sake Mina, hurry up, the police aren't going too wait for you!" She quickly grabbed a bag and began too fill it with her favourite things and Cooper's food and things.
As we got to the canal, Mina and Cooper jumped into the boat and sat at the back.
"If this happens again Mina you're on your own, you should be able too control yourself by now, you can't do what you please anymore, you're going to get us both killed, I saved you and this is how you repay me? I have never had too run and abandon my whole life before you came along, why can't you just try too control yourself?" I started the boat and pulled out of the harbour.
We travelled in silence, Mina hated it when I told her off, more so when she knows i'm right, life has gotten so much harder since I turned her. She was amazing from the day i'd first met her, but I don't think I can deal with her much longer.
Hours went by before I docked the boat, I didn't know where we were, we had been travelling for 3 days, I suspected we were somewhere in asia but I couldn't be certain.
"I'm sorry, i'll try harder, I don't want to move again." I rolled my eyes as I stepped off the boat, my phone vibrated in my pocket. As I pull it out I see his name, a pain shoots through my chest, it feels as though i've been stabbed right through my heart. I decide to not read the text until later.
"Look Mina, if it happens again, i'm sorry but I can't pretect you again." She turns too look at me, horror filling her face.
" You can't leave me! I can't do this on my own, please I need you Zara! Cooper needs you, i'll try my best, just please don't leave me." I stay quiet as we reach our new place, as I get inside I see everything set up, the removal was successful. The estate agent was sat in the lounge as I enter, he says nothing, only stands walks to me, gives me a sympathetic smile, hands me the keys and an envelope. As he nods to me and starts to leave, he looks at Mina, sneers at her and shakes his head before shutting the door behind him.
"Is this our stuff? How did you..." I quickly hold my hand up and remote the sheet of paper from the envelope.
'This Is The Last Time Zara,
This Is Her Last Chance.
SORT IT! Or I Will.'
"This is your last chance Mina, there's nothing I can do about it. Don't screw it up this time!" I slump down in my seat and remove my phone from my pocket. As I open the message I feel like crying but instead I click reply.
'I'm sorry Tony, i've had too leave, I don't know if i'm going too be able too return, bye x'
