(TPPOV)It had been a week since she died and a few days since the funeral happened and Anjel was buried. Joey barely understood what was going on and frequently asked Mulan when his mommy was coming home and she didn't have an answer that wouldn't make her cry to say out loud. She took it one day at a time, herself often forgetting that Anjel was never coming home and breaking down in tears on her bedroom floor.

On another part of this small town that recently became aware of who they truly were, getting over losses as well. Valora and her family grieved the loss of Valora's best friend, Alana. Charles whined and curled up at Jefferson's feet and Grace leaned into her mother's side, a frown upon all faces. Free tears fell down Valora's face, dripping onto her shirt collar.

The only one who seemed to not be grieving any losses was Qadira. She in fact, was celebrating the loss of both those she killed, especially Anjel's murder. She felt she had avenged the loss of her brother and her lover with the lives she took of the precious "heroes". And yet, she felt like it wasn't enough, as if more was to be done. There was a hole in her heart. The hole was so big from the loss. Her heart had grown so dark from the murders and the curse.

The rest of the town felt like something was missing without the mother, without the friend, without the brother or lover or coworker. Mulan had begun asking around to find out if there was a way to go back, back before she lost her love.

"I promise you this, I'll find a way to bring you back. To bring you all back." She spoke softly, looking up into the sky, now scattered with stars.
