My eyes drooped as I lazily fell onto my bed after a long day and fell into a deep sleep. Hours later, I awoke and I swore I was sweating buckets. I sighed as I rubbed my eyes and reached for the water bottle I kept on my dresser to my left. Unfortunately for me, the dresser was farther away than I remembered it. I pushed myself up as I stretched for the drink. Before I knew it I was headed for the floor. I closed my eyes and braced for the impact.

I suddenly noticed that I was falling farther than the floor should be. I looked down and realized I was falling into a forest, more importantly, directly near a large chopped down tree and its broken branches. I screamed as I grew closer to the forest ground. At the last second, I tuck rolled to the ground to prevent injuries and landed safely. As I stood and looked around me, I heard voices coming towards me from in front of me. Three women appeared before me and drew their weapons, startling me as I stood in merely a tank top and boxer shorts, holding my blanket. I quickly covered myself as they neared and came to a stop.

"Who are you, why are you here?" One woman asked.

"Most importantly, what are you wearing?" Another asked.

"I'm Anjel, I have no idea how I got here, I was in bed and now I'm here...which is where by the way? Also I wear these to bed." I attempted to tie my blanket around myself.

" You're in the Enchanted Forest. Those clothes you are wearing, they are not from here, are you from Storybrooke perhaps or someplace in the land without magic?"

"The land without magic? I suppose that's where I am from. Who are you?"

"Mulan."

"Dorothy Gale."

"Ruby Lucas."

"Only Mulan?" I asked with a questioning smirk.

She replied with a quick yes and a small smile. After they told me their names, there was a strange loud rumbling, then I heard the words booming from the sky above,

"He's yours now. Keep him safe, because I could not."

That's when I saw him falling from the sky, Joey wrapped in his blanket, screaming as he fell closer to the ground. I rushed to catch him just in the nick of time. He held onto me tightly and cried, I rocked him until he calmed. First came his diaper bag, I caught that with one hand. Then his sippy cup twonked me in the head and I made a funny sound followed by an ouch.

Joey is a two year old boy. He has super thin brown hair, a button nose, bright blue eyes as blue as the night sky, has the cutest smile in the world, and a cute childlike face. He wears minion pajamas, and carries a dirty baby blanket with him everywhere.

"Come with us, we'll keep you two safe.", spoke Mulan, looking at me in a way I couldn't describe.

Mulan was dressed in red Imperial Armor and held a sword on her side and a small knife strapped to her right bootleg, her dark brown hair falls perfectly on her shoulders and her face was definitely something else, it was seemingly perfect. Her eyes, while filled with pain and mystery, were a shade of golden brown like melted chocolate or a cup of hot cocoa. All these women were beautiful, but there was just something about her, the way she looked at me when speaking, or how when she smiled at me, it reached her eyes. I knew instantly that I could trust her as she would do no harm, but she had not spoken these words to me herself, it was just this feeling I had about her that I couldn't describe.

"I trust you will." I said then walked towards them slowly, Joey in my arms, now fast asleep.

The walk back to their camp seemed to be taking forever, we'd been walking for hours or at least a very long time.

"Are we close?" I say, letting a puff of air out. Carrying Joey got hard because after awhile, he got heavy.

"It's just up ahead," replied Mulan, "if you'd like, I can carry him for you?"

I moved him over to my other side,

"No, it's fine, I've got him."

We reached the camp within five minutes after our departure. Mulan showed me their cabin so I could lay Joey down so he could rest elsewhere that wasn't my shoulder.

"We'll need more sleeping powder." "I know where there's a poppy field, I'll go get poppies from it"

"I'll go with." said Ruby.

"I'll go alone." said Dorothy.

"I wasn't asking permission, I'm going."

"Fine."

Ruby wore a lot of red, I wondered why but didn't question it much. She also wore a tightened charcoal corset along with a long sword. Her hair was in partial braided parts and the rest a wild nest of hair. Her eyes were a mix of blue and green, with a wild spark and pain mixed in them. Dorothy on the other hand, was dressed in a royal blue dress with a mahogany corset and dark blue robe, she carried a long bow and arrows and a knife hidden in her left bootleg. Her eyes a forest green filled with fierceness and also pain in them. These women all seemed to have their fair share of pain, as well as different victories of their own that made them sheltered against others. Dorothy and Ruby went on their way to the poppy field, leaving just Mulan and I by the fire.

"Thank you for giving us a place to stay for the night"

"I understand if you'd like to part ways after tonight, as we just met, but walking with a child in a place like this is dangerous. I'd feel safer knowing you were with us instead of wandering out by yourself."

"So you wouldn't mind having me and my two year old son, Joey, with you?" I asked shyly as I peered into her gorgeous eyes.

"Surely I wouldn't mind a pretty girl and her baby to join me," I blushed a deep shade of red at those words.

"Oh? You really think I'm p..pretty?" My words caught in my throat as I looked down.

I surely wasn't anything special. I had a wispy shade of blue through the long locks of my hair, and black hair that was shaved down underneath it all. My eyes are honeysuckle brown with a golden twist, like caramel, with blue glasses over them. I was dressed in dark blue boxer briefs and a grey tank top.

"Yes, I very much do."

We talked some more as we waited for Ruby and Dorothy to return from there travels to the poppy field. When they returned, There was a giant wolf walking towards us with Dorothy. I later came to realize that the wolf was Ruby. Dorothy went to the cabin to rest and Mulan and Ruby went to talk. I sat closer to the fire, away from them, letting them have privacy. After five minutes, Ruby got up and made her way to the cabin. I looked up to see Mulan, holding her hand out to me, I gingerly take hold of her hand and she pulls me to her feet.

"I'm sorry if this is too forward, but after talking with Ruby, and I've been thinking about our conversation earlier." She took a breath to brace herself. "I can't help but feel like maybe you're what I'm looking for. I understand if it's too soon, but if you'd like, we can take things slow?"

"..."

I'm too stunned to speak. I look into her eyes and suddenly I find myself lost in them altogether, I almost don't notice her pulling me close. As her face comes closer to mine, a small smile appears on both our faces. Our lips softly brush each others softly, I'm not sure who deepened the kiss first. I found myself wrapping my arms around her, her strong arms pulled me in closer. Ruby cleared her throat awkwardly to get our attention. We part and I look down at the ground awkwardly. I feel Mulan grab hold of my hand to pull me closer to her.

"Dorothy is gone, it seems she has left, I fear it's because I frightened her. I'm sorry if I frightened you" Ruby spoke softly.

"I wasn't frightened, just surprised I guess" I muttered shyly.

"I'm sorry to hear that Dorothy has left, do you want us to search for her in the morning?" Mulan asked tentatively.

"No, that's okay, it just means I was wrong."

I awoke the next morning in Mulan's arms, while Joey lays beside us, still fast asleep. I tried to move without waking her but failed, she began to stir awake.
