Jealous - Klaus Mikaelson

"I had a really good time tonight Marcus.." you say as your date walked you to your door.

He was tall, handsome and everything you had wanted at the moment. Despite being a bit boring, you were happy with him and that's all that mattered.

"I did too, Y/N." Marcus says getting closer to you.

Was he the kiss on the first date kind of guy? You didn't even know yourself what kind of girl you were, since you hadn't been on that many dates. Deciding to go with the flow you let yourself move toward him too.

You can almost feel his warmth against you as he continues to move in closer. His head comes down to you're small level and you knew what was about to happen. Your heart begins beating quicker, your mind almost gets completely blank.

Closing your eyes you prepare for Marcus's lips.

Eyes fully shut, you hear a thud. A loud noise that couldn't help but make you open your eyes quick.

Sprawled out in front of you is Marcus. Laying silently and dead looking on your dimly lit front porch. Your mind that was just almost blank is now filled with millions of questions and thoughts about what just happened.

You quickly kneel at Marcus's level and place two fingers on his neck. A heartbeat almost startles you but brings a wave of relief over your entire body.

"I love pressure points." A familiar voice says from in front of you.

You look up, your eyes find a pair of expensive looking shoes in front of you and your eyes trail up to find the person you didn't want to find.

Klaus. Of course it was Klaus Mikaelson. Who else?

"What did you do to him Klaus?!" You say ultimately in panic mode.

You stand up quickly and walk over to hopefully look intimidating to the thousand year old original vampire.

"Don't worry, Y/N. He'll be back in a matter of minutes. Hopefully." He says back to you taunting you.

You've always known Klaus. At least for as long as you can remember. Hanging out with the doppelgänger and her friends was the best bet to getting close to Klaus. Which you of course didn't know at the time.

Would you have chosen otherwise when you knew this would become your future? Probably but would what will happen next change your point of view on things?

"Klaus you can't just go around knocking people out! Just because your a 1000 year old vampire with hybrid abilities doesn't mean you can do whatever your sadistic mind pleases." You say standing up for your lifeless looking date.

Klaus has always had this sort of control over you that you could never understand. He grabs you, holds you still and your whole train of thought is lost when he does this. Your heart calms and Klaus's touch brings some sort of subconscious reassurance that your mind would never allow but somehow your body does.

He looks into your eyes and truthfully, you believe, tells you it's going to be okay. And you believe him.

"Why did you knock him out anyway? He wasn't trying anything or going to kill me. So why did you do it? And why even are you here?" You question him with a curious glare.

Klaus has to think about his answer before speaking. You can see his thought process like his brain is being handed to you. What is his solid reason he was here in the first place?

"Just passing through." Klaus says almost uncertain but always with his cocky tone.

"Passing through my front porch?" You ask.

"Look Y/N, I can explain everything. The following, the staring, everything."

Once the sentence comes out of his mouth you suddenly realize what he's talking about. While on your date with Marcus, you noticed unusual staring from strange men across the room. In the moment you brushed it off as a means of feeling safe with Marcus. But now?

You can't believe the nerve of Klaus. But why the hell would he do this in the first place? Was it some sick joke?

"Why Klaus? Why?" You yell in his face.

"Y/N! I can- I can explain!" Klaus yells back silencing your shouts.

"Explain then huh!" You barked. "Explain why you had me followed, stared at and then proceeded to knock out my date! Because the only reason I can begin to think of is one sick, sick joke."

You just stare at each other for what seems like a while.

Looking into each others eyes, Klaus steps towards you, closer than he's ever been before.

"I care about you Y/N. I was just nervous for you to go on a date with this nobody. I was afraid you would get hurt." He says so quietly you can barely hear.

Your heart starts beating fast. Faster than it was beating for Marcus.

Klaus leans forward even more and you can feel his breath on your face.

"I just want you, Y/N." Klaus says heating the moment up.

You question what he says. Why would Klaus want you? He could have any girl in the world with his good looks and cocky smile but he chooses you.

Do you want him back though? Knowing the terrible things that Klaus has done should impact this decision but it doesn't. Maybe it's just a moment of weakness but your whole body gives in to what Klaus is offering to you. And you want it bad.

"I want you too." You reply softly in his ear.

You press your lips onto his and the world implodes in your mind. The softness of the kiss is what you had been craving.

Klaus grabs your neck in his hands and pulls you closer, kissing you deeper and deeper and you don't mind at all.

Nothing else is on your mind but Klaus. Not even the almost corpse lying next to you both.
