Chapter 4

Jack woke up the next morning next to root beer bottles and pizza, which only left him wondering what him and Finn were doing last night.

He frantically got up and shook Finn until he woke up.

"What the fuck dude?" Finn asked in his groggy morning voice.

"What happened last night? Why are their root beer bottles and pizza everywhere? Did we like hook up?"

"Oh my god Jack! No, we didn't!"

"Thank god," Jack said, flopping back into his bed in relief.

"You really have a horrible memory. All we did was have a little food fight and then talk about who we are crushing on."

"Who did I say?"

"You seriously don't remember? You said you kind of liked Millie, but you also thought Sadie was hot. Nothing about Sophia though."

"I like Sophia, but only as a friend. Nothing more. But the other two, I could get with," Jack said, smirking.

"Oh my god, you're ridiculous," Finn said, throwing a pillow at Jack, making Jack flip him off.

"What time is it?" Jack asked.

"It's almost eleven. I bet we're the last ones up."

"Probably. But I'm hungry, so I'm going downstairs."

Jack and Finn walked downstairs to an almost full dining room, there were two seats left.

"Nice to see you two aren't dead this morning!" Jeremy yelled across the room.

"Yeah, yeah whatever. We had a long night," Finn said.

"A long night snuggling?" Caleb said, making the whole group laugh. Jack and Finn rolled their eyes.

"Speaking of last night, who made a loud and muffled scream last night?" Millie asked.

"Sorry. We were just playing a little prank," Noah said.

"If all you boys are going to do to us girls is prank us, we're not going to be very happy," Sadie said.

"We're not here to make your stay happy, we're here to make it fun," Wyatt replied.

"Pranking us is not fun," Sadie argued.

"Oh really?" Wyatt said, standing up and walking towards Sadie. "So you wouldn't think it would be funny if I just did this?"

Wyatt picked Sadie up like a baby and brought her to the backyard. She was kicking for her freedom, but Wyatt had a firm grip on her, and was almost in tears from laughing so hard. The group finally realized what he was about to do, he was about to toss her in the pool.

He was inching closer to the pool. Sadie had stopped kicking by now and was yelling at him.

"Wyatt! Wyatt don't, please don't!"

When he didn't stop, she screamed as loud as she could and Wyatt let go of her, he was now crying from his laughter. And so were all the other guys. Millie and Sophia ran over to her where she was softly let go of.

Sadie had now calmed down and was using her death glare on Wyatt.

"Ladies and gentlemen, and that is what you call an unexpected prank," Wyatt stated.

The boys just laughed, but the girls all glared at them. Millie and Sophia went to argue with all the other guys but Wyatt. He walked over to where Sadie was sitting.

"Okay. I know you were screaming, but you got to admit that was kind of funny."

"I didn't think it was."

"I hope you would know I wouldn't have actually thrown you in there. You're too nice for me to do something mean like that," he said, smiling at her.

"Oh," Sadie replied. "But you're still a jerk."

"I can take that. Here, let me help you up," he stood up with one hand out to help her up and the whole group was watching. Sadie blushed a little and Jack noticed.

"Look, she's blushing!" Jack shouted, which caused the guys to erupt into laughter. Sadie walked over to him and stood face to face with him.

"I don't think you want me to go all Max Mayfield on you and hit a baseball bat into your balls, do you?"

Jack remained silent.

"Didn't think so." Her and the girls walked back inside with all the boys staring at them through the glass patio door.

"She can be nice and sweet, but she can also end you in a couple seconds. I like that." Wyatt said.
