CHAPTER 5: Counting stars

"I have to go" Justin nervously said as he watched the wolves attacking everybody."You stay here"

"No way" I replied. "I'm going with you"

"As your maker, I command you to stay here" He then jumped down to the backyard.

I wanted to jump down with him, but my legs weren't responding. I yelled out loud for impotence. I was watching the scene. Some vampires had already run away. Others were fighting the wolves. There were lots of them. Their hair were gray, they were big, strong and as fast as a vampire is. Their eyes were pure gold. Justin, Jessica and other friends of theirs were fighting them. I looked around and I didn't see Beyonce or Annie. It was a relief. There was a whistle and suddenly the wolves ran away. But there was one left on the roof with me. I noticed its breath. A rough one. I turned to him and saw the biggest wolf I'd ever seen in my entire life.

"Come and get me' My fangs showed up along with my bloody eyes and the veins in my face.

The wolf roared and it then ran up to me. I was a bit scared but I wasn't about to back off. I yelled and pushed it with all the strength I had. Then Justin showed up back on the roof and stabbed him with a knife. The wolf turned into human. I was surprised by the transformation. He was on his shape and sobbing. The wound was located near the stomach.

"Who sent you?" Justin angrily yelled at him. "Who released you?"

I was quietly observing it. My face went back to normal and I sighed from relief.

"Fuck you bloodsucker" The werewolf replied slowly.

"Fuck me? You dead!" Justin then started drinking from his neck. I smelled the blood and my fangs showed up again. I was trying to resist it, but when I realized, I would be drinking from his wrist. Blood bags were fine for me but nothing could compare to warm blood. I kept drinking until there was no drop of blood left. I was gasping and I had blood all over my mouth. Justin then took a napkin and cleaned his mouth. He then handed one over to me.

"Who were they?" I sounded scared.

"Werewolves" He replied as he looked down to the backyard. Everything was destroyed. "One bite and you're dead. It's a long story"

I cleaned my mouth and we then jumped down to the backyard.

"Everybody alright?" Nancy asked out loud.

"Jenna ain't here" Jimmy worriedly pointed out.

"Either is Pablo!" Jessica freaked out.

I was fearing the worst. Where are they? I only saw him at the beginning of the party. I broken into tears.

"They got Jenna" It was Pablo's voice. I turned around. He had blood all over his new suit and his face.

"Oh god Pablo" Jessica used her vamp speed and hugged Pablo. He hugged her back.

"I'm fine" He was in shock.

"Have they bitten you?" She worriedly said as she let go of him.

"No" He sighed and he then started crying. "I couldn't do anything. I tried"

"They have my Jenna..." Jimmy couldn't believe it. Nancy walked towards him and held him.

I looked around the backyard and found Trace on the ground. He was suffering. Justin noticed too and we ran up to him.

"Trace...?" Justin slowly asked. Trace then painfully showed this right arm to us. He had been bitten.
