CHAPTER 9: Voodoo people

I stepped back as Mery was leaning in. Pablo,using his vampire speed, was immediately in front of her.

"Stay the away from her!" Pablo's fangs showed up. Mery's laughter was an answer and she quickly snapped his neck. Pablo passed out and we were even more scared. Aaron took my hand.

"You, whatever you want from her, you ain't getting it" Aaron rose the volume.

Mery laughed and pushed Aaron. He fell onto the floor. The few people in the bar ran away and the waitress hid under a table.

"I fancy you" Mery sweetly said to me.

"I despise you" I slowly replied with anger.

"Wow... Lovely" Mery smiled. Aaron ran up to her again. Without blinking, Mery snapped his neck.

"I want to introduce you to someone" Mery grinned. "If you don't follow as I say, I'll kill both of them"

I gulped and nodded. She then walked off and I began to follow her. We got out of the club and I saw a girl. She was blonde, well dressed and she sounded very familiar to me.

"No fucking way..." I lowly said. It was Britney Spears!

"You must be Elena" Britney said as she stared at me. "Mery you're done for now"

Mery then ran off using her vampire speed. She shortly smiled.

"I really did want to meet you so badly" Britney smirked.

"What you guys want from me?" I gulped.

"Release a message to your maker" Britney's face turned into a serious one. "Meet me at 9 o'clock tomorrow on the beach or Jess and her progeny will suffer"

She then walked towards me and kissed my forehead.

"It was nice to finally meet you Elena" Britney left using her supernatural speed. I was in shocked. I looked around and saw all the people from the bar running away.

'I've got to compel them to forget' I thought to myself as I sighed. I then ran up to them and compelled everyone. I did the same to the waitress and helped her clean up. Suddenly Pablo woke up. He looked confused and dizzy.

"Where am I?" Pablo looked around as he slowly stood up.

"In the club" I replied. "Mery broke your neck"

Aaron then woke up and stoop up. He was angry with himself.

"Are you okay?" He worriedly asked.

"I'm fine" I sighed. "Just take me home"

Aaron nodded and he drove us home. I got home and looked for Justin. He was with Jess in their dorm. I quickly walked in to the dorm and found them naked in their bed.

"Holy crap!" I yelled and walked out closing the door. I was so embarrassed. Justin then got out wearing a robe.

"I am sorry I just..." I sounded nervous.

"I don't mind actually" He laughed.

"We need to talk" I sentenced trying not to look down.

"I'm gonna change. Wait for me downstairs" He then opened the door again. I stayed quiet for a couple seconds and headed downstairs. I couldn't believe what I'd just seen. Justin came downstairs. He had put himself some comfortable clothes on.

"Ready to go?" He offered his right hand to me. I took it and we went off.

"Is it fine in the woods?" He asked.

"Sure" I smiled. The woods was in front of the mansion so we didn't have to drive. Already in the woods, we quietly walked to the woods until we arrived at a lake. It was beautiful at night.

"Wow..." There was a glow in both of my eyes.

"Beautiful, isn't it?' Justin smirked as he sat nearby the lake. I did the same.

"I come here when I want to clear my mind out" He pointed out as he was looking at the bright water.

"I met Britney earlier" I suddenly said. Justin sighed as a way to reply.

"Britney... " He slowly said.

"She wants you to meet her tomorrow at 9 pm on the beach" I sentenced. "If you don't, Pablo and Jess will get hurt"

"I want you to come with me" Justin said as he turned to me.

"I don't think that's a smart idea" I giggled.

"I want you to get to know how horrible Britney has become" He sounded serious. "Do it for me"

I finally agreed and nodded. I wanted to hug him so badly that I couldn't help it and ended up on his arms. He hugged me back and I began crying.

"I won't make it through" I sadly said.

"You are strong enough to get through anything" He started stoking my hair.

"I think the vampire world is just too much for me" I sentenced with tears streaming down my face. We then drifted away and he removed my tears from my face with his fingers.

"You are my daughter Elena" He said as he looked into my eyes. I got lost in his blue eyes. "I assure you no bad will come to you"

"Thanks Justin" I smiled and we hugged each other.

We walked back home. During the walk, he would make me laugh by doing silly stuff. He cheered me up a little. Back at home, Jessica and Pablo were laughing.

"What's going on?" Justin smiled.

"We're just sharing anecdotes" Jessica said as she stood up and walked towards Justin. Their lips pushed passionately. I rolled my eyes and I got a jealousy feeling inside.

"I am exhausted" I cut in. "Night"

I then went to my dorm and dropped myself off my bed. I immediately fell asleep.

-12 hours later-

I opened my eyes and checked my watch. 10:30 am. I sighed and went back to sleep, but my tries turned out to be such failures. I finally decided to go downstairs to feed. Downstairs, I had a blood bag. I was quite bored so I decided to explore the mansion. During my exploration, I found a door that leaded to the basement. I was curious so I came down. It was all dark and dirty. I was quietly walking when I bumped against something. The shape of the object was familiar. I kneeled in order to study it better. It was the same hobby horse I used to have back in England. I was shocked.

'What the heck...?!' I thought to myself.

There was a shout naming me. I nervously stood up and went back upstairs. It was Jessica.

"Sorry, I was just..." I tried to excuse myself.

"It's okay sweetheart" She grinned at me and walked off.

I closed the door and stayed there. Why do they have the same toy I had when I was a child? I shook my head. It must have been just a coincidence.

-8 hours later-

The last 8 hours had been boring; I watched TV and chatted to Julia. She was a huge friend of mine. She originally was going to come over in a few days that time, but after our transformations, we needed to settled things down. It was a relief for me to know that she wasn't mad at either of Pablo and I. Jessica met up with some friends so she left before Justin got back home. It was time to face Britney.

I saw Justin's face. He looked calmed and it made me smile somehow. I walked towards him.

"C'mon big boy" I joked.

He then smiled and we went off. We drove for half an hour. We finally reached the beach. No one was there yet. We sat on the sand and chatted a little until we saw that Blondie girl a bit far from us.

The game had just started.
