This story has no begining. I mean, I guess it did, when I was born... but we're skipping to last month, in June. That's when I went to camp. That's when I met her.
She has no name right now, as I've just left her presence and unveiling her name right now seems like a sign of obsession with her. I mean, yeah I am kinda obsessed with her, but still. I just hate admitting it.Because she means the world to me. And I secretly call her Applejack. And I think she knows I do. I also think she knows I love her. I don't think she's straight, either. That's a plus, consideringing I'm a girl 'n all. But, love is new to me. Before Applejack, I'd been with a buncha punks who were either too clingy or cheated on me or I just didn't like 'em. And most of my so called 'friends' just don't like me.
So, I went to camp to get away from everyone.
I thought I'd escape that terrible life I was leading. I thought I'd escape a love life. Boy, was I wrong.

That day, when I saw her face behind un upturned bicycle, I was astonished. She was so fair. Short brown hair, brown eyes, freckled skin. She smiled and waved... I just stood there like a manequin. I was speechless, and when my brain started working again, she was gone. Shit. She looked a lot older, maybe a counselor. I probably looked like a pipsqueak to her. I remember I'd brought my black skeleton-leg leggings that glowed in the dark and I had on a pink tank top with a huge skull on it. And I probably smelled gross. I was on a plane all day that had come from Florida, and now I was in Michigan.God, was I stupid. My stomach felt strange after I'd seen her. I was confused. "I can't be in love," I'd thought. "She's a girl. I'm a girl. Maybe I just admire her." That feeling would not go away, though. I caught myself looking around for her at meals. And when I did find her, I couldn't stop looking at her. My cabin mates would notice, and look in her direction."What are you looking at?" My friend Hailey said one afternoon. "Oh, um, nothin'." I looked down at my plate of half-eaten mashed potatoes. I used the fork to dig a hole in the sloppy pile and filled it with ranch dressing. "Gross. You're not gonna eat that, are 'ya?" She said. "You sure ask a lot of questions." I said with a slight smirk. She quietly looked at her own plate. She had eaten almost everything, all was left was a gravy-covered carrot, which she rejected and put on the rim of her plate. I proceeded in watching Applejack again.
