6:00 came around in the blink of an eye. I didn't want to see Amanda. I couldn't face her. Which sucks, 'cause she has an awesome face. But, I don't. And because I'm scared. What does a twenty year-old need from a fourteen year old girl? Wouldn't that be illegal? I mean, if we...you know...Well, it's illegal. I don't think it should be, but it is. I can't leave my cabin. I don't want to. I'm way too comfortable in my sleeping bag. I glance at my watch again. 6:07. Applejack wanted me to meet her around seven... I still have time to take a power-nap and listen to my iPod. I actually made a whole playlist for her. It's filled with Peirce the Veil, Good Charlotte, Modest Mouse, Greenday and Bring Me the Horizon. These are all bands. If 'ya didn't know. I laid down on my bunk covered by a blanket. It's cold in Michigan. I then fell asleep.
I woke up to the sound the dinner bell. Well, the pre-dinner bell. I grabbed my Converse and ran to the tetherball. My heart was beating, but not because I was sprinting. Because I was nervous. I was practically fainting as I ran. There were dark spots when I stopped to take a breath. When I got to the tetherball, Amada was sitting there already, one arm slung over the bench. She waved at me and signaled for me to sit down by her. I walked to her and sat down, hands trembling. "Hiya!!" She said cheerfully ,as if lunch never even happened. "Hey..." I said. "I wanted to show you something." She smiled. I blushed, "this can be taken a few ways," I thought. She pulled out a spiral sketchbook. She opened the first page. It was a drawing of a feather. It was blue, green and white. "Just a doodle," she said, "nothing I'm proud of." She hung her head. Her curls wrapped around her face. I brushed some behind her ear. My hands trembled as I did so. She smelled like chocolate and cinnamon. She looked at me. She smiled so big, I thought she was about to eat me. I wish she had. She blushed tremendously. God, she was beautiful. Suddenly, she hugged me.
