After breakfast that day, I went to my cabin. I sat on my top-bunk bed and pulled out a pen and sketchpad. I sketched (In pen) Applejack's head shape. It was kinda ovalish, but she has a pointy chin. I drew her almond shaped eyes, and her small, ski-slope nose. Freckles on only her cheeks. Small mouth, with doll-like lips. Thin, softly-arched eyebrows. I felt myself blush. Why am I drawing another girl? Why am I so caught up thinking about her all day? What the hell is going on?
The door slammed open to the cabin. I quickly stuffed the picture under my pillow and posed dramaticaly. My cabin mate, Bergen entered. She noticed me and laughed. "Looks like you have a girlfriend." She said. "I'm not a lesbian." I quickly said. "I never said you were, I said it LOOKS like you are." Normally, I'd be offended, but to be honest, I took it as a compliment.Applejack finds me approachable. Maybe. "Well, what if I did have feelings for a girl?" I asked, straightening my back. "What about it?" She arched an eyebrow."Is that bad?" She thought for a moment."No. It's strange, but it's not terrible. Why, are you attracted to Applejack?" I thought about what to say. I just shrugged and plopped down on my pillow. "It's funny, really." I said to nobody in particular. "What's funny?" Bergen asked. "You'd think that I'd be straight, but now that I think of it, I think I'm in love with Applejack." She stared at me with huge googley eyes. "You sure?" She asked. "Positive."
