As I get home I have this feeling of being watched and it's honestly freaking me out. When I walk through the front door, I hear my mom in her room upstairs play music.
I sigh and head up to my room and set my bag down and walk to my radio, turning it on when the song 'Rock You Like A Hurricane' by The Scorpions.
I smile and begin to dance as I pull out a black tank top then a red and black skirt. I then get dressed and put on my bat necklace and my key one. Afterward, I pull on my black and white converses the grab my studded bag.
I rush around the room trying to find my mothers ring that she gave me when I turned 15 but I couldn't seem to find it. I sigh and go downstairs to ask my mom if she's seen it.
"Hey, mom!?!" I call out, as I make my way to the kitchen where she normally is when I get home.
"Mom?" I call when I reach the kitchen and don't see her but jump six feet into the air when she scares me.
"Ahh, what the fuck!!" I exclaimed, turning around quickly to see her laughing her head off. I scowl at her and shake my head at her. "What the hell, mom!!" I ask her irritated and roll my eyes at her.
"Nothing just wanted to scare you, so what did you need?" She asks I look at her for a second then smirk. "I was looking for my ring that you gave but seeing as your wearing it I won't even ask," I said looking at the ring on her middle finger

She laughs nervously then take's it off and gives it to me then walks out of the kitchen, I raise my brow at her then go back upstairs to finish getting ready.
An hour later there was a knock on the door, so I go and see who it is but find my mom at the door with Billy. Billy looks a bit nervous until he sees me.
He smiles and waves then looks to my mom. I laugh and make my way to them and telling my mom I would be out until 10:40 pm. She nodded smirking at me as she shut the door, I laugh and focus on Billy again. "You look beautiful," Billy says as he looks me up and down. I blush and look away before responding,
You don't look too bad your self," I say smiling, we then walk to his blue Camaro, where he opens the passenger door for me then closes it. I buckle in while he gets in and shuts the door and starts the car.
"Sooooo?" He says slowly, I look up at him and raise a perfectly black brow at him while smiling, "Yes??" I ask, he looks nervous before speaking again.
"Where is your dad?" He asks hesitating a little bit. I look down then out the window as we drive past people,
"Umm, he died in a car crash a couple of months again while on his way back from a business trip in New York," I say quietly.
He looks at me with sad eyes, "My mom died from cancer a few years back." He mumbles while looking at the road, I turn my head towards him and reach for his hand that is sitting on the console, as I grab his hand, I look out the window and think about who Billy was, he was a guy with anger issues but a sweetheart in disguise.
When we reached Benny's Diner, we got out and went to take a seat, the diner is small but has a homey feel to it. From what I heard the owner had taken his own life in the back, I grimaced at the thought of somebody taking their life in a public place where families come to eat and spend time together.
Once we are sitting, we looked over the menu and we both decided to get milkshakes.
"Hi, Welcome to Benny's Diner, What can I get for you two tonight? " Asks the waitress, stares Billy down with a look I didn't like very much. Billy looks up at me, "What do you want babe?" He asks me, not even looking at the waitress, I smile and reply, "May I get the tenders and fries, please?"
"Yes ma'am" says the waitress, she then turns to Billy and smiles, "and for the hottie?". Billy raises his eye brows at her,
"Ma'am, I am out with my girl, if you continue to flirt with me I will have you fired." He looks her dead in the eyes. "May I also have the cheese burger and fries." He finishes what he had to say and turns back to me, "So...Favorite band?" He questions me. I laugh and reply, "The Clash or The scorpions". I watch as he raises his brows again. "Really?" He asks... I nod my head, "Yea, why?" I question, He shakes his head, "I didn't take as a Scorpions fan or the fact that you listen to them." He says.
I laugh, "Well Mr. Hargrove there is much to learn about me and my music." I say with a sly smirk, the waitress huffs and sets our drinks in front of us. "Your food will be out in about 10 mins." She says with a flirty tone. Billy pays her no attention as he continues to stare at me in thought. "Alright, thank you." He says.
As she walks away he shakes his head, "I don't think she knows how to take no for an answer." He sighs. I laugh and shake my head at him, "You sir, are a heart throb." I call as I head to the jukebox and put a dollar worth of quarters picking four songs. When I get back to the table, 'It's Raining Men' by The Weather Girls was playing and Billy had raised his eyebrow at me as I sing along to the song,
"Its raining men! Hallelujah! It's raining men! Every specimen! Tall, blonde, dark and lean Rough and tough and strong and mean." I sing to Billy who starts laughing at me as I continue to sing with the song.
By the time the song ended our food had arrived and the waitress was glaring at me cause I was able to get Billy to laugh.
"What?" I ask as she glares at me. She huffs and goes to walk away when I open my mouth, "If you have a problem with me, tell it to my face." I state bluntly. She turns and looks at me for a moment before opening her mouth.
"Sweetheart, he don't want nothing but to get into your pants to prove a bet that he can get any girl in bed with him. You mean nothing and you will never mean anything to him skank." She says and then walks away but stops when Billy calls her out.
"The only skank I see is you. Do not disrespect my girl like that, where is your manager so that I may have a conversation with them." Billy says darkly.
"Y - yes sir." She stutters then runs to the back and gets the manager.
"How can I help you this evening?" Asks an older women. "Yes, your waitress, the one behind you, had been very disrespectful to my girl calling her a skank. I want something done about it." Billy says.
